News : 250 Call Centre Jobs for Waterford
Jan 13, 2012 -- Waterford got a much needed boost today. 250 jobs are being created at a call centre in the city.
The jobs are being created through the expansion of Irish call centre operator Eishtec.
The company recently secured a contract to provide customer service sales support for Orange, mobile telecoms brand in the UK.
Today's investment has the backing of Enterprise Ireland, and the jobs are set to come onstream by the middle of this year.
Recruitment for the new positions is currently underway and offers some hope to those affected by the recent closure of the Talk Talk operation in Waterford.
