Allstates Technical Services Expands Into Dallas Market

Birmingham, Ala.- July 4, 2008 - Andrea Hopkey, President of technical staffing company Allstates Technical Services LLC, announced today that the company has hired two Dallas professionals to focus on expanding Allstates’ staffing services in the Dallas market.

Allstates has hired Nona Renfro to serve as Business Development Manager and Jennifer Presti to serve as Technical Recruiter. Renfro and Presti bring to Allstates more than 20 years experience in the staffing industry.

Renfro has more than 12 years experience in strategy, business development, marketing, consulting and staffing and has worked for and with many of the world's leading technology and communications companies. Prior to joining the company, she held various management positions at MCI, VerizonBusiness, and AT&T.

Presti has more than 10 years experience in the staffing industry with specific expertise in strategic sourcing, client management and validating prospective candidates. Presti is passionate about matching the right candidate to the right employer. Prior to joining Allstates, she was a senior recruiter with AT&T.

"We’ve made the right investment in people by hiring Nona and Jennifer to grow our business in Dallas," said Hopkey. "With such an exciting technology market and the benefit of 60+ years in the technical staffing industry, Allstates is well positioned to become a leading full-service provider of technical staffing solutions in the Dallas market."

The new Dallas team will focus on providing staffing services in the growing Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), Call Center / IP and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) markets; among other technology segments.

"According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, Dallas had the largest year-over-year increase in employment at 90,900 jobs," said Hopkey. "That significant growth coupled with the boom in RFID and IP-both projected at more than 50 percent in the next two years-make Dallas a hub of opportunity for technical professionals and an ideal market to offer our staffing services."

Allstates Technical Services, LLC is a full-service technical staffing company specializing in contract, contract-to-hire, and direct placement recruiting and staffing. The company has 900+ contractors dispatched to work in more than 40 states throughout the U.S. Partnering with clients to provide highly-skilled, technical professionals to support the scope of their time-sensitive projects, Allstates supplies just-in-time engineering and IT professionals to the chemical, power, oil and gas, pulp and paper, pharmaceutical, telecommunications, and financial service markets.

Allstates is a wholly-owned subsidiary of BE&K, one of the nation’s largest privately held engineering, construction, and maintenance companies. KBR recently announced its plans to acquire BE&K and its subsidiaries. The transaction is expected to close next month.
