Arise Virtual Solutions Expands To The UK

Miramar, Fla., - October 10, 2008 - Arise Virtual Solutions Inc., a U.S.-based company focused on outsourced home-based services, or homeshoring, has successfully expanded its global business to the United Kingdom with the launch of its relationship with a UK retailer, the company announced today. Operating as Arise UK, the European sister company is seeking 250 new independent customer interaction professionals in Britain to service retail clients immediately for Christmas 2008.


"Arise is thrilled to offer legitimate, home-based work options to individuals in the UK," stated Angie Selden, CEO of Arise Virtual Solutions. "We have more than 7,500 existing Virtual Services Companies in the United States who have helped to create a reputation of quality and value for our clients, and with the growing global demand for Arise services, UK residents will now be able to experience the advantages of our flexible, home-based work model," she continued.

Arise screens and certifies thousands of independent professionals that invest in their own training and equipment to answer calls, e-mails and provide interactive chat services from their home offices. Operating as individual small businesses, or Virtual Services Companies (VSCs), Arise Certified Professionals choose specifically when, how long and for whom they work. The company’s mission is to match the capabilities of the certified professionals with the goals of its clients and the needs of their customers - inspiring trust and creating results for those it connects.

Arise seeks talent from a variety of groups that may benefit from a flexible, independent virtual work model, including professionals seeking to supplement a full-time income, university students, stay-at-home mums/dads, and retirees amongst others. VSCs can service Arise UK clients in increments of 30 minutes with a schedule they choose for themselves.

John Riordan, Vice President at Arise, who joined in 2007 after a 15-year customer service career with US Airways, Virgin Atlantic Airways and Apple, adds, "Having seen the outstanding quality and performance delivered by home-based agents at my last two jobs, I am excited to lead Arise’s international drive into the UK market to replicate the phenomenal success of our US business."
