Birmingham, UK - October 2, 2007 - During Call Centre Expo 2007, the CCF European Call Centre Awards took place. The awards ceremony celebrated the fantastic work happening in Europe’s call centres over the past year.
The awards attracted the call centre community from across the globe including representatives from South Africa, Germany, Botswana, Egypt and America. The event was attended by 1,200 people and continues to attract the industry to gather, celebrate and socialise.
The 20 categories rewarded individuals, teams and companies for their achievements and hard work and gave the winners the opportunity to gain recognition for their call centres.
Barclays, Business Banking, Gadbrook Park had a very successful evening after winning four awards plus the overall European Contact Centre of the Year award while 24/7 Customer, Bangalore took the Non-European Call Centre of the Year award. The CCF Industry Champion was awarded to Robbie Wilson from RESPONSE and the Best Product award, for which exhibitors at Call Centre Expo were selected to be finalists, was given to Graham Technology for ciboodle.
The evening was hosted by Frankie Boyle, an established name in the world of comedy who has appeared in TV shows such as BBC2’s Mock the Week plus 8 out of 10 Cats, They Think It’s All Over and FAQ U.
