(Cincinnati and Linköping, Sweden; 28 June 2002) - Convergys Corporation
(NYSE: CVG), a provider of integrated billing, employee care, and
customer care services, and INgroup, an outsourcing company in
business support, announced today that INgroup has acquired Convergys'
contact center operations in Sweden.
Included in the acquisition, which closed on 28 June 2002, are
approximately 300 managers and employees who work at Convergys' facility in
Linköping. The acquisition also includes a state-of-the-art platform for
outsourced Contact Center and CRM services.
"Convergys' operations in Sweden fit in well with our expansion strategy
and our ambition to take the leading position in the Nordic countries
within business support. With this acquisition, we increase the added
value we offer and complement our existing services. At the same time, we
can offer our customers additional business support solutions," explained

Linköping and for our customers. We can continue to develop our Nordic
business and also offer a much wider range of services to our current and

within INgroup.

focused our European strategy primarily on billing services and on target
