Call Center to Bring 300 New Jobs to Area

22 August 2010 -- Irving-based Stellar expects to hire 300 workers for its new call center in Hickory Creek, just across Lake Lewisville from Highland Village.

According to Hickory Creek's Economic Development Consultant, Barry Steele, completion of the new 23,279 square-foot leased service center in Cornelius Town Center is slated for late fall, with the center operational and a full-time staff of 140 employed.

Stellar ultimately plans to operate the facility at full capacity, creating an additional 200-plus jobs.

The new flagship facility will manage the call center operations of Coach-Net, a major Stellar client. The launch is part of an initiative by Coach-Net's parent company, National Motor Club, to implement its strategic growth plan.

The relocation of their current call center from Lake Havasu City, Arizona, to Hickory Creek will take place over the next eight months.
