Jan 10, 2012 -- Convergys Corp.is hiring 414 new customer service and technical support positions for its contact center in Lake Mary.
The positions and their job functions include:
• Customer service/sales associates to assist customers with the addition of new services, changes to their account, or any technical troubleshooting or billing questions. Some of these positions are bilingual, requiring candidates to be fluent in both English and Spanish.
• Technical support representatives and technical engineers to troubleshoot hardware and/or software issues. Candidates must have thorough understanding of various software applications, including Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X.
Michele Griffin, site leader at the Lake Mary center, said the growth of a current client program and the addition of a new line of business created the additional employment opportunities for local job seekers.
