News : Convergys Recruiting for 50 Positions in New Glasgow
NEW GLASGOW, May 1, 2012 -- Convergys is recruiting candidates for more than 50 full-time positions at its contact centre in New Glasgow.
New employees will provide customer service support for a Convergys client in the health care industry. Many of these positions have shifts from Mondays through Fridays.
"These positions are ideally suited to anyone who appreciates the importance of building strong customer relationships while helping inbound callers resolve questions or concerns regarding their health care benefits and claims," said Julie Caines, recruitment manager for the Convergys contact centre in New Glasgow. "Employees also may find these positions serve as a great stepping stone to a career in operations, recruitment, or training. In fact, more than 70 per cent of Convergys’ customer service managers began their careers as agents, and we are known for the internal promotion of our employees."
Last year, Convergys celebrated its 10th anniversary as part of the New Glasgow business community.
Potential candidates should possess solid customer service experience, strong computer/keyboarding skills and a Grade 12 education or GED. Employment with Convergys also is contingent on a successful background check.
