Datatel Partners with Trustwave to Help Call Centers Comply with PCI DSS

October 6, 2010 - Datatel Inc., a provider in hosted Interactive Voice Response (IVR) solutions, has partnered with Trustwave to provide Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) compliance validation solutions for its call center clients. Trustwave is a provider of PCI DSS compliance solutions that service providers of all industries can offer to their clients.

PCI DSS is a requirement for all entities that store, process, or transmit cardholder data and has been endorsed by all of the major card brands, including Visa Inc., MasterCard Worldwide, Discover Network, American Express, and JCB.

Datatel helps call centers with the difficult task of meeting PCI DSS compliance requirements, by providing a PCI Ready, Hosted Interactive Voice Response (IVR) Payment Gateway with secure connectivity to U.S. and Canadian credit card processors. Through its partnership with Trustwave, Datatel clients will have access to a complete suite of PCI DSS compliance validation solutions.

In order to assist in the compliance efforts of call centers, Datatel has engaged Trustwave to provide its customer’s access to TrustKeeper(R), Trustwave’s PCI DSS compliance web portal. TrustKeeper helps merchants complete the PCI Self-Assessment Questionnaire, schedule required vulnerability scans and receive their PCI DSS compliance certificate. Datatel clients will be able to purchase Trustwave services as a stand-alone option, or as part of Datatel’s service bundles.

Because Datatel’s PCI Ready Telephone Payment Gateway is a hosted solution, implementation does not require special hardware or software licenses, or customized development. Furthermore, Datatel maintains the telecommunications hardware and infrastructure, reducing expenses and ensuring rapid and worry-free implementation.
