News : Egain Establishes Direct Business Operations In Germany
Sunnyvale, CA., Dec 8, 2011 -- eGain (NASDAQ: EGAN), provider of cloud and on-site customer interaction software, today announced the launch of eGain Deutschland. This expansion builds on the success of edgetec, a joint venture between eGain and SCHOLAND & BEILING. edgetec has deployed eGain solutions to power multichannel customer service strategies for market providers in the eCommerce, retail, telecommunications, and financial services sectors.
"German-speaking markets present a tremendous opportunity for growth," said Ashu Roy, CEO of eGain. "Our experience with edgetec provides a compelling business case and a successful operating template."
eGain Deutschland will deliver localized versions of eGain’s Customer Interaction Hub software suite with applications for knowledge management, multichannel service, and interactive sales. The company will build on edgetec’s model of combining proven customer experience strategy, innovative eGain software, and quality service.

Dirk and Sven are veterans of the European customer service and eCommerce industry. As senior executives at international brands, they directed customer management operations for over a decade. Recently, they joined hands to build SCHOLAND & BEILING into a customer care consulting companies in Germany.
