Global One Center in the city’s new Palm District will beef up the cyberpark’s floor area by 34,000 square meters. The new building will address "the expansion requirements of our locators as well as the office space requirements of new business process outsourcing (BPO) entrants," said Jericho Go, Megaworld FVP for Business Development.
Since it is located in the country’s first IT park, Global One Center offers a 24/7 wired environment. Ample telecommunication lines, back-up power and fiber optic cables assure locators uninterrupted operations and flow of information and data.
Global One Center is slated to become Eastwood City Cyberpark’s 7th BPO building. Its strategic location along the new Palm Tree Ave. means locators get an alternative entry and exit point via C5 road. BPO tenants that will locate to Global One Center are also entitled to income tax holidays and other exclusive perks, as guaranteed by the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (Peza).
Global One Center gives the employees of locators a chance to live and play where they work. New residential condominiums within Eastwood City offer employees attractive leasing opportunities. The building is also adjacent to Eastwood Citywalk 2 and its shopping, dining and movie attractions. Workers even have more choices to unwind at the new Eastwood Mall. "For years now, our BPO and call center workers have worked hard and played hard at Eastwood City. Our city’s vibrant 24/7 active lifestyle has attracted tens of thousands of workers and will surely be appreciated by Global One Center’s future tenants and their employees," Go declared.
