Microsoft Dynamics Sees Customer Traction

New Delhi, Nov 24, 2011 -- More customers are embracing Microsoft Dynamics ERP and CRM solutions to enhance their business operations, lower total cost of ownership and get a single view of their operations, said a top official on Thursday.

This has reportedly resulted in Microsoft Dynamics crossing 2,000 customer milestone in a record-breaking timeframe of less than 5 years across various industry sectors in the SMB as well as enterprise segments in India.

"Customer-focused strategies require CRM solution to help acquire customers thorough various touch points and translate operational data into actionable insights for proactively serving customers. As a result, the company decided to opt for MS Dynamics CRM solution that would help it achieve competitive advantage," said Srinivasan Iyengar, COO, AEGON Religare Life Insurance Co. Ltd.

"This solution creates an efficient working environment for us, and we are seeing the results in more satisfied customers. Using Microsoft Dynamics CRM solution, all leads are assigned automatically and every lead is attended based on the assignment matrix.

"In addition, agents get the assignment alerts along with client information, which ensures that services of all agents across India are properly utilized. With faster, automated processes on systems, employees can spend more time building customer loyalty. As a result, productivity has improved," said Iyengar.

V. K. Bansal, Chief Financial Officer, Dhanuka Agritech Ltd. a Microsoft customer, echoing the same sentiment said, "Microsoft has its hand on the pulse of the customer and understands our needs well. The deployment at our end has helped us monitor, track and report our inventory and receivables at any point in time. By virtue of relevant, real time information, the solution helps in decreasing the costs from various fronts."

Subhomoy Sengupta, Group Director – Microsoft Business Solutions said, "This achievement is a result of our ability to offer a line of simple and easy-to-use Microsoft Dynamics range of solutions that shows clear business ROI and integrates easily with existing technologies that customers are familiar with or already have installed. It enables customer to make more informed decisions, adapt to new opportunities and has the ability to scale as their business grows."
