News : Relatrix and TAPE Work to Expand Partner Engagement

Evergreen, CO, May 3, 2012 -- Relatrix, a provider in Online Contact Center solutions for the PreK-12 education market, announces a collaborative agreement with the Texas Association of Partners in Education (TAPE) to promote partner engagement best practices and efficiency with Relatrix’ EZPartner module.
Beginning in May TAPE and Relatrix will begin development of webinars, forums and electronic material to introduce a new approach to engage community partners with schools. The EZPartner module will enhance the success of students and prepare them for college and their future careers. Forums and webinars will be scheduled beginning in the summer.
Using the EZPartner system Texas school districts can recruit and manage business partners online. Partners can offer services to schools such as internships, mentors, job shadowing, guest speakers, and field trips; as well as donate supplies, equipment and other materials. School staff can create requests or search for offers to bring real-world, post-secondary and workforce skills to their students.
District administrators can facilitate the matching of resources or allow partners and schools to work together directly. Aside from helping match community partners and schools EZPartner can track outcomes so district administrators have quantitative and qualitative data to plan and expand future partnership efforts.
"Our board chose Relatrix to help TAPE fulfill our mission to strengthen student success through volunteer, community and business/school partnerships," said Mary Ann Rojas, TAPE President. "EZPartner creates a natural platform for business leaders to offer community assistance to schools while school administrators choose what services benefit students enrolled in the district’s schools," Rojas added.
"Working together, Relatrix and TAPE are providing a service to build more community engagement in Texas schools," said Mark Franke, President of Relatrix. "Using the resource matching and communication features of our EZPartner system will help Texas schools not only deploy available community resources where they are most needed, but also to capture data on what resources are needed most, where they are needed and how outcomes of the matching process are directly impacting students."
Since 1979, the Texas Association of Partners in Education (TAPE) has provided leadership and expertise for schools, families, businesses, and communities to build partnerships that enhance student success.
