Still Time to Apply for BT Customer Service Jobs in West Bromwich

Dec 8, 2011 -- BT has announced that a number of vacancies are still up for grabs at its brand new contact centre in West Bromwich.

A total of 300 customer advisor roles have been created at the state-of-the-art building at Providence Place.

BT wants the new contact centre to be up and running as soon as possible and is keen to receive further applications.

A website has been launched giving further details. An online application form is available.

The new centre will help BT to continue to provide exceptional levels of customer care to its customers.

Recruitment began last month and is continuing over the next few weeks. The aim is for all the new staff to be in place early in 2012.

There is the potential for successful candidates to earn up to £22,500 a year, or even more for exceptional performers. Full, on-going training will be given to help them develop their BT careers.

John Dovey, BT's West Midlands regional director, said: "We have already received lots of interest in these new posts, but there is still time for people to apply. We want to hear from people who want to make a difference in this exciting new environment.

"We're determined to meet our target of getting everyone in place early in 2012. So if you haven't already applied and you're interested in becoming a BT customer advisor we'd love to hear from you as soon as possible!"

Councillor Ian Jones, Sandwell's cabinet member for jobs and economy, said: "These new jobs with one of the UK's best-known companies are sorely needed and are excellent news for local people.

"The BT building at Providence Place will be a great place to work and we want to make sure our residents take this fantastic opportunity and apply for the jobs while they can.

"We are dedicated to transforming West Bromwich into one of the region's premier towns and our partnership with BT will help us achieve this."

The new facilities at Providence Place are part of BT Transform Sandwell - BT's partnership with Sandwell Council aimed at revolutionising business in the area.
