News : Synergy Solutions Plans Bemidji Expansion

BEMIDJI, May 24, 2012 -- A call center here plans to nearly double its work force this year, according to an announcement Thursday by Greater Bemidji.
Synergy Solutions, which provides services in outsourced client communications solutions, employs 81 full time employees. The company, which has four call centers nationwide, hopes to expand its workforce to 150 by the end of December.
The company began operations in 2000 and is located in the Bemidji industrial park.
Greater Bemidji, formerly known as the Joint Economic Development Corporation, announced the workforce expansion in an email newsletter.
"A core specialty for Synergy is customer interaction management and the commitment to the quality of the customer experience," the email newsletter said. "When Synergy Solutions began operations, it was primarily established as an outbound call center. However, due to customer demand and changes in the industry, the majority of their business is inbound customer service."
Synergy Solutions leases space in a building owned by Greater Bemidji, which offered the company a competitive rate to attract it to the city.
In addition, the newsletter said Tina Lisell, a Bemidji founding member of Synergy Solutions Inc., recently was promoted to operations director while Christa Heibel took over as chief operating officer in April.
