TouchStar Acquires FacetCorp

Denver, CO - October 9, 2008 - TouchStar, a global company focused on call center software, has acquired FacetCorp. FacetCorp's flagship product is a software based business phone system that minimizes operating costs and increases productivity.  

Businesses can save money with FacetPhone by reducing costs related to system purchase, upgrade, and maintenance. Savings are also achieved by: minimizing long distance costs with VoIP, simplifying networks to serve voice and data, minimizing travel costs by enabling remote workers, eliminating custom system integrations, gaining a conference bridge, and eliminating costs for moves, adds, and changes. FacetPhone operates on a Linux operating system and standard Dell server that ensures reliability, scalability, and cost savings.

Employee productivity and customer service are improved with FacetPhone by: providing a screen pop of caller information, displaying the presence and phone activity of available employees, ACD queue management, recording, monitoring, visual voicemail and multiple delivery options, enterprise only instant messaging, enabling click to call from Microsoft Outlook and CRM applications, and easily interfacing with other communications devices such as predictive dialers and call center systems.

Rick Morris, TouchStar's Chief Operating Officer, commented on TouchStar's acquisition of FacetCorp: "We are excited about adding a strong team of phone system experts, and a great product, to TouchStar.
