Richardson, Texas – October 25, 2010 -- Vertex, an international Customer Management Outsourcing business with clients in the private and public sectors, announced that the District of Columbia Water and Sewer Authority (DC Water) has extended its contract with the company. Vertex will continue to host and run its proprietary customer information system (CIS) for DC Water, as well as manage billing services for DC Water’s customers.
DC Water is a multi-jurisdictional regional utility that provides drinking water, wastewater collection and treatment for millions of visitors, residents and employees in the District of Columbia, and also collects and treats wastewater for a population of 1.6 million in Montgomery and Prince Georges counties in Maryland and Fairfax and Loudoun counties in Virginia.
