Independent audit re-certifies VoltDelta's Service Provider Solutions Quality Management System.
BLUE BELL, Pa., Aug 31, 2010 -- VoltDelta Service Provider Solutions, part of Volt Information Sciences, a provider of virtual contact center systems, voice self-service solutions , and operator services announced today that it has achieved TL 9000 re-certification for its Quality Management Systems. Compliance with TL9000 requires an independent audit every year with re-certification every 3 years. Initially certified in 2004, VoltDelta is now registered as in compliance with the most recent TL9000 Release 5 as well as ISO 9001:2008.
The TL 9000 quality standard is a telecommunications industry specific quality standard based on ISO 9001. It is overseen by QuEST Forum, a not for profit organization comprised of member organizations providing telecommunication products and services. TL 9000 demands attention to product reliability, software development, lifecycle management, and requirements that address communications among carriers beyond ISO 9001 requirements.
Customers of TL9000 certified vendors are assured of consistent quality resulting from Quality Management Systems that are constantly tracked and regularly verified.
