Buy twice, to get it right once?

Buy twice, to get it right once?

June 21, 2010 by Randy Chalfant

In any economy, who can afford to buy something twice, to get it right once?  We have all made bad purchasing decisions, from which we then read the independent reviews that expose the issues of a product.  Wouldn’t it be better to know that before hand?

This underscores the responsibility we have to be aware. There is an abundance of government, consumer and analyst organizations whose objectives are to protect us with unbiased opinion on the credibility of product claims. Unfortunately, Information Technology consumers have often lacked reliable and complete resources to distinguish hype from fact.

Filling the need for buyers to make informed midrange storage decisions, the Data Center Infrastructure Group (DCIG), recently published its 2010 Midrange Array Buyer’s Guide. This comprehensive report is the first of its kind. It has been independently produced through a methodical and statically valid approach, normalizing the abundant features available on 72 storage arrays from 21 different vendors.

Independent and with no funding from any vendor there is no guarantee of inclusion in the buyers guide.  The DCIG Midrange Array Buyer’s Guide provides a fair, unbiased testing and ranking for each product.  In one place, it offers all the information needed for buyers to choose the right data storage product for their business – the first time.

Through this Consumer Reports-style analysis, Nexsan won the competition with our premier storage solution, DATABeast®, achieving the number one ranking by a wide margin among all other midrange arrays.  DATABeast so far exceeded the results found in other midrange arrays that DCIG concluded it is as close to a Tier One enterprise class array as an organization can get, without the high cost.

Other Nexsan solutions included in the report are SATABeast®, SASBeast® and the Nexsan iSeries® 400i.  Each ranked exceptionally well in their respective class against well-known competitors.

Of course we are very pleased with the outcome, but we are even more pleased that the industry now has a report that buyers can reference to make informed storage decisions. Making informed decisions is always more financially efficient when compared to the cost of mistakes and the added expense of resolving them.  Using insightful knowledge is the most effective decision-making improvement anyone can make.

The DCIG Midrange Array Buyer’s Guide provides the detailed independent analysis important for these decisions, allowing you to buy it right the first time.

Asigra CEO David Farajun Recognized as 2010 Storage Superstar by CRN Magazine

TORONTO – Asigra Inc., a leading Cloud Backup™ and recovery software provider since 1986, today announced that company’s Chief Executive Officer, David Farajun, has been named one of the “2010 Storage Superstars” by CRN Magazine. CRN’s Storage Superstar Awards honor the visionaries and innovators who have contributed genuine breakthroughs to the storage industry, advancing the state of technology.

Farajun was cited by CRN for more than two decades of innovations in the managed backup space since pioneering multi-tenant backup recovery software in the 1980s with an optimized solution for managed backup service providers. He is credited with innovations such as agentless software deployment, unified backup and recovery for physical and virtual environments, global deduplication and advanced service provider features such as integrated billing and SLA management. Through his work, Asigra is now aligned with more than 500 VARs, service providers and technology partners globally including HP Electronic Vaulting Services, Terremark Worldwide, SunGard, NetApp and CDW who en masse have deployed Asigra Cloud Backup at more than 100,000 sites worldwide.

More recently, Farajun spearheaded the development of Asigra Cloud Backup v10, extending its leadership across public, private and hybrid cloud environments with a unified data protection platform that is more efficient and easier to manage than alternative tape or disk-based backup and recovery solutions. The company’s latest generation platform expands the tiers of backup and recovery (Local-Only Backup and Backup Lifecycle Manager (BLM) enabled cloud storage) to align recovery performance and costs with business requirements. It also allows the backup of laptops in the field and other environments for recovery to and from physical, virtual or a mix of physical and virtual servers.

“Solution providers who design and deploy storage infrastructures deal with a technology where change is the only constant,” said Kelley Damore, VP, Editorial Director, Everything Channel. “Small businesses and enterprises alike need to safely store, back-up, recover and archive data and these Storage Superstars are many of the unsung heroes who have helped invent better ways of doing this. Yet many of these individuals seldom get the recognition they deserve. We congratulate all the ‘Storage Superstars,’ and are happy to provide an opportunity to shine the spotlight on them.”

“Being named as a CRN Storage Superstar serves as a barometer for the innovative technologies we are bringing to market to truly make a difference in the industry,” said Farajun. “Our accomplishments are the result of the dedication of our entire team, which includes the commitment of our VAR and MSP partners. Collectively, we are changing the way organizations around the globe ensure data protection.”

SANpulse Selected as 2010 Emerging Technology Vendor by CRN Magazine

Jersey City, NJ – SANpulse Technologies, Inc. today announced that it has been selected as a 2010 Emerging Technology Vendor by CRN Magazine. SANpulse was one of a select group of software companies to make the list, and was cited by CRN as a vendor that is “delivering high margins for solution providers with innovative and easy-to-use technologies.”

The Emerging Technology Vendor designation is the second time this month that SANpulse has been honored by CRN and is the latest in a series of awards and recognition that the company has garnered this quarter. Company co-founder, president and CTO Gerard Lam was highlighted this month by CRN as a 2010 Storage Superstar for his innovations in storage migration and data center consolidation he developed as part of the company’s SANlogics™ offering.  Additionally, SANlogics was named Product of the Week by Network World and the company was recognized by AlwaysOn Networks as a technology innovator in the East Top 100. Furthermore, SANpulse CEO Peter Mehta was chosen as a finalist in Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year Awards.

According to CRN, solution providers report that they are driving a higher percentage of sales and profits from emerging vendors, such as SANpulse, and their technology breakthroughs in the midst of economic uncertainty. Emerging vendors are credited with delivering more innovative solutions at a better price for customers, which in turn drive higher profits for solution providers.

“This recognition from CRN is a great honor for SANpulse and it validates our vision of driving cost savings for Fortune 500 customers by improving data center efficiencies through consolidation, automation and optimization,” said Mehta.  “SANpulse is looking to extend our model for enterprise-class storage migration and data center consolidation with Top Tier Managed Service Providers, professional service organizations and VARs with a demonstrated record of excellence in serving enterprise customers.”

“Solution providers are always looking for new and innovative technologies to solve business problems for their customers. As this industry has shown, today's emerging vendor can be tomorrow's Cisco, Google or Facebook and getting ahead of technology can help a VAR grow their business and differentiate their offerings," said Kelley Damore, VP, Editorial Director, Everything Channel.

Eligibility for the CRN Emerging Technology Vendor list is limited to companies that were founded in 2004 or later, have revenue under $1 billion and have an active U.S. channel strategy. Final selection to the Emerging Technology Vendor list was made by the CRN editorial team.

Free White Paper Download: No More Tiers – Assureon by Nexsan, Redefining what Archive Means

Nexsan’s Assureon  Secure Disk Archive Delivers Uncompromised Value with Primary Storage Performance

Companies are faced with a wave of complexity in trying to make sense of tiered storage: complex storage infrastructures, storage management and regulatory compliance requirements. Imagine a single box solution that could consolidate storage tiers, guarantee data protection, simplify storage management and lower storage costs. There’s no need to imagine any more as Nexsan’s Assureon Secure Disk Archive delivers uncompromised value with primary storage performance and cost-efficient management of your most infrequently accessed files. Assureon redefines what archive means.

The complexities of the traditional storage infrastructure along with its management and cost combine to make an unforgiving challenge for IT. How chaotic can all of this complexity be? Administrators must be able to budget for massive storage capacity growth and plan for multiple layers of infrastructure overflowing with:

• disk arrays;

• backup servers;

• data deduplication appliances and other equipment;

• a variety of protocols and physical interfaces;

• hundreds of storage management applications, each with its own software interface, none operationally integrated with another;

• dozens of different vendors and pricing permutations

What if all this chaos of complexity could be replaced with a single, small solution that dramatically simplifies the infrastructure, automates management and improves data security while significantly driving down your storage costs?

Nexsan’s Assureon Secure Disk Archive redefines what archive means. With the most innovative thinking in an archive, Assureon leverages a new approach to storage consolidation and automated management that changes how an entire storage infrastructure can be deployed and managed. By combining speeds rivaling primary storage performance with the ability to manage infrequently accessed files on “deep sleep”, cost-efficient drives, Assureon is the picture of uncompromised value.

Free White Paper Download: The Digital Age Trapped in an 8 Track World, Eliminate Tape with Assureon

Tape has been a standard data storage medium for more than 50 years, but that era is winding down. The capabilities of tape have been outpaced by mammoth increases in corporate data, the recovery and data integrity demands of regulatory compliance and the challenge of simplifying, automating and consolidating the data protection infrastructure in a restrictive IT budget environment.

The Assureon disk archive overcomes all the nagging performance and data integrity issues related to tape archiving while greatly reducing cost and complexity with infrastructure consolidation and automated management.

Magnetic tape as a data storage technology is approaching the end of its useful life. In the past, the limited volume of data made tape sensible, however, its functionality has been overrun by historic data growth and a new IT budget reality that is forcing storage administrators to adopt new solutions that lower the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for storage.

Tape simply cannot measure up to today’s standards for reliable, secure, simplified, cost-effective storage while meeting an organization’s performance requirements. Nexsan’s Assureon secure disk archive is a state-of-the art archival storage solution that innovates where tape stagnates for fast, reliable, secure storage. Going forward, tape may still exist to be tucked away inside a mountain, or for data portability, but even those days are limited.

Assureon brings a competitive edge for companies looking to get rid of the storage headaches that come with tape systems. Moreover, for any organization that has data that demands guarantees, no other storage solution will make you feel safer and more at ease about your protection architecture than Assureon. If data protection risks within your current storage infrastructure have ever kept you up at night, Assureon will ensure that you never worry about the risk of data loss again.

With Assureon, Nexsan has established a best practice model on how data archiving and protection should be deployed. Nexsan’s “simpler is better” concept improves the performance, security and reliability of archival storage with infrastructure consolidation and simplified storage management to create the type of storage cost reductions and efficiencies required of IT professionals.

SANpulse Saves the Day During Major Data Center Consolidation Project

SANlogics’ unmatched flexibility and performance enables a client migration record of 257 hosts with 104 TB of storage spanning six data centers in two weekend migration windows.

Customer:  Fortune 100 Financial Services Firm

Challenge:  Market volatility led to the cancellation of a migration event and with a hard time line to exit two existing data centers, this SANpulse customer more than doubled the host counts for the next two migration events.

Key Metrics:

100% successful migration in a timely risk free manner

Migrated and transformed 257 hosts

Migrated and optimized 104TBs of data

Expedited adoption of new technologies resulting in double digit operational efficiencies

No additional delivery resources added (1 Architect and 2 implementation teams of 2 each working in shifts)

SANpulse Delivers Business Value:

Real-time scalability to meet real-time business needs

Maintained the schedule to exit the data centers on time avoiding $1.5 million in lease penalties

Accommodated dynamic business requirements while delivering on schedule

Delivered consolidation cost savings (reduction in floor space and power)

Zero increase in costs to the customer

Migration Details:
Leading up to Weekend #1: Due to business circumstances the Client initiated a Worldwide Change Freeze the day before the scheduled move of 42 hosts. Data could not be migrated as planned. SANlogics was able to accommodate this last minute change and automatically generate audits and new work files for the following weekend to move the data targeted for both weekend #1 and for weekend #2.

Through Weekend #2: Before weekend #2, the Client changed the business requirement from Open Replicator and Host-based migration to all Cold Pull Open Replicator.  SANlogics software once again automatically adjusted to this business requirement change in the move method 48 hours prior to the migration event. Despite last minute changes in requirements and the rollover of all hosts that weren’t initiated in weekend #1, SANpulse executed flawlessly. 123 hosts and 48 TBs of data were migrated in a single weekend window.

Weekend #3: Due to the pressing need to consolidate the data centers to avoid financial penalties, weekend #3 exceeded the activity of weekend #2 and the team seamlessly migrated and consolidated 134 hosts and 56 TBs of data to V-Max.

PALO ALTO, Calif. –Gridstore, the innovation leader in enterprise-class Network Attached Storage grid (NASg) solutions, today announced that the analyst firm, Taneja Group, has recognized Gridstore as a leading solution for scale-out NAS for SMB and MSP organizations. The recently published Taneja Group report, entitled “Gridstore NASg: Network Attached Storage Grid,” details how Gridstore NASg uses a grid architecture to build a cost-effective file-based storage solution, creating storage pools to centralize sharing and management of massive amounts of NAS-stored files. The result is a cost-effective, high-performance solution that is both scalable and reliable.

“Gridstore is a significant entrant in the scale-out NAS market category,” said Arun Taneja, founder and consulting analyst, Taneja Group in the report. “With Gridstore entering the picture, we see a newly innovative approach to consolidating storage while optimizing efficiency for SMB and mid-tier customers and increasing profitability for their MSPs. Gridstore’s competitive impact on the SMB and mid-tier NAS market may well be a dramatic one.”

The Gridstore NASg platform combines the simplicity, convenience and affordability of NAS with the scalability, performance and reliability of enterprise-class storage. The powerful on-premise NAS storage grid eliminates storage sprawl and multiple single points of failure while providing a next-generation storage offering at 1/2 the cost of standalone NAS solutions.

According to Taneja Group research, Gridstore NASg offers economical and highly scalable scale-out NAS systems for the SMB. As a result, it uniquely delivers the following benefits:

Scalable Capacity – NASg creates a single storage pool to avoid creating disparate pools for storage using multiple NAS devices.  Simply attaching a NASg storage node to the network expands capacity.

Scalable Performance – NASg harnesses the aggregate processing power of client nodes to delivering linear scaling by distributing storage processing and eliminating processing bottlenecks.

Scalable Throughput – Every NASg storage node adds 1Gb/s of parallel throughput.  As the storage pool grows, the bandwidth to the pool automatically grows with it to eliminate network bottlenecks.

Fault Tolerant – NASg features scalable redundancy and fault tolerance that goes beyond RAID 5/6.  NASg can be configured to allow many failures of entire storage nodes and eliminates the single points of failure from disks, controller or management console.

Cost-Effective OPEX and CAPEX – NASg significantly lowers IT management overhead thus reducing OPEX budgets. It also leverages commodity hardware to deliver cost-effective storage that reduces ongoing capital costs.

“Gridstore NASg was designed to bring the value of enterprise-class scale-out NAS to the SMB and MSP customer,” said Kelly Murphy, CEO and co-founder, Gridstore. “No organization, regardless of size, should be constrained by their exponential growth of data. NASg solves the challenges of cost, performance and scalability for the small and mid-sized organization while increasing availability and reliability. Now every organization can easily implement limitless storage capacity with unlimited network bandwidth and processing capacity for even the most demanding storage applications.”

The cornerstone of Gridstore NASg is the Gridstore NASg Storage Node, an Intel/Microsoft-based storage node that features embedded Windows XP, an Intel Atom core, 1GB of RAM, and up to 2TB of SATA hard disk drives. Caltech Spitzer Science Center Reduces Storage Management and Costs for Two Petabytes of NASA Data with Nexsan Storage

Nexsan Storage Systems Selected for Storage of Space Image Data

Nexsan, a leading storage system provider, today announced that the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) Spitzer Science Center (SSI) is meeting its data storage challenges by using Nexsan SATABoy® and SATABeast® storage systems. SSI has decreased storage management and maintenance costs of two petabytes of data by employing Nexsan’s storage systems. The resulting savings have enabled better resource utilization for other strategic projects surrounding this important NASA mission.

The Spitzer Space Telescope (formerly the Space Infrared Telescope Facility, or SIRTF) was launched into space by a Delta rocket from Cape Canaveral, Fla., on August 25, 2003. Throughout its mission of discovery, Spitzer has obtained images and spectra by detecting the infrared energy, or heat, radiated by objects in space. These images have enabled visibility into regions of star formation, the centers of galaxies, and newly forming planetary systems.

The storage of these unique and research-critical images is managed by Caltech, and SSI consulted with ESS Direct to select a combination of Nexsan SATABeast and SATABoy RAID storage systems for their reliability, cost efficiency and simplified operation. During each new Spitzer research activity, SSI stores approximately 100 TB of images in its Nexsan storage environment, which today is composed of more than 2,000 drives, 130 controllers and 65 chassis.

“In choosing a storage vendor, we wanted to reduce storage costs, but we also needed very reliable technology to reduce IT resource drain,” said Eugean Hacopians, senior systems engineer, Caltech SSI. “It’s understood that one of the best ways to shrink storage management costs is to reduce system and component failures so that IT professionals are not relegated to servicing equipment.”

“We’ve had petabytes of data stored on our Nexsan systems for more than seven years and have experienced excellent reliability. The systems have helped reduce storage maintenance costs, which are less than what they might have been with alternative systems,” added Hacopians.

KECK GRADUATE INSTITUTE CHOOSES RELDATA UNIFIED STORAGE SOLUTION FOR SCALABILITY, HIGH AVAILABILITY AND DATA PROTECTION

RELDATA Unified Storage System Enables Concurrent Block & File Storage to Support Expanding Data Growth and iSCSI SAN Transition

RELDATA Inc. (reldata.com), the innovation leader in unified block and file storage solutions over iSCSI, announced today that Keck Graduate Institute of Applied Life Sciences (KGI), a member of The Claremont Colleges in Claremont, California, has selected RELDATA to help improve campus-wide access to data and user productivity. KGI deployed the RELDATA 9240i unified storage system to manage both its block and file storage to transition from an older NAS system to an iSCSI SAN. The RELDATA solution also allowed KGI to implement a cost-effective scalability strategy, as well as implement disaster recovery policies to quickly restore data and applications in emergency situations such as earthquakes.

Keck Graduate Institute offers an interdisciplinary graduate program that combines applied life sciences, bioengineering, bioethics and business management. The two-building campus has an IT infrastructure comprised of numerous Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Linux servers and Windows XP desktops that run Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Office, and KGI’s computer software for student information and records

Following an internal review, KGI realized its existing Apple XRAID solution was not equipped to meet its block and file storage requirements and that a newer solution was needed to manage both protocols in a simple, affordable way.

Working with value added reseller RJ Sales, KGI replaced its existing system with a 24TB  RELDATA 9240i system so that it could manage both NAS and SAN simultaneously, and accommodate the storage and email needs for both faculty and a student population that is expected to double over the next four years to more than 200. In addition, KGI can now support its IP infrastructure with lower cost iSCSI, which provides significant cost advantages over Fibre Channel storage systems.

The RELDATA storage system is a key component of KGI’s data infrastructure that provides adequate headroom for students to use the same Exchange server as faculty and staff. It also accommodates KGI’s trend of unstoppable data growth while meeting the school’s accessibility requirements with simple management from a single console. KGI is using RELDATA’s offering to manage both block and file storage affordably and simply from a single console.

“Our primary goal is keeping data highly available and accessible to faculty, staff and students to optimize their productivity and facilitate learning and research,” said Bill Roberts, director of information technology, Keck Graduate Institute. “RELDATA’s unified storage solution complements our efforts to build an IT infrastructure that is both robust and expandable. Now, we have the flexibility needed to scale our infrastructure as we grow without incurring costly licensing fees. In addition, RELDATA works seamlessly with virtualized VMware server architecture, for greater ease-of-use and manageability.”

“It was important to identify a storage solution that could run both NAS and SAN so that KGI’s move from NAS to iSCSI SAN would be as seamless as possible and at a reasonable cost,” said Reid Hymas, president, RJ Sales. “KGI evaluated other unified storage solutions, but chose RELDATA because it eliminated the need to purchase more equipment and to ‘jury rig’ a solution that would support both NAS and SAN. With RELDATA, KGI got a solution for both NAS and SAN in one device, without having to forklift its existing infrastructure.”

Built from the ground up, the RELDATA Unified Storage platform is based on an open, software-centric architecture that delivers superior performance for storage consolidation within complex multi-vendor and virtualized server environments. RELDATA’s Unified Storage Engine (USE) leverages the iSCSI fabric to manage block and file environments more cost-effectively than with Fibre Channel (FC) alternatives. It provides mid-size and remote enterprises with significant benefits compared to alternative FC networks including ease of implementation and simplified storage management that results in significant cost savings.

“Mid-size organizations need a next-generation storage architecture that offers the flexibility to cost-effectively grow their storage capacity, works with existing third party vendors, and ensures high availability of data,” said Steven Murphy, CEO, RELDATA. “We are pleased to be the unified storage solution of choice for Keck Graduate Institute, once again proving the value customers are achieving with our technology as they scale their organizations.”

nexTier Networks Announces Next-Generation Data Leakage Prevention Security Solution with New and Enhanced Benefits for Customers

nexTier Networks Announces Next-Generation Data Leakage Prevention Security Solution with New and Enhanced Benefits for Customers

Xbridge to Deliver Compliance Enforcer 3.0 Appliance Under New OEM and Integration Agreement with nexTier Networks

SANTA CLARA, CA--  nexTier Networks, the company redefining data leak prevention (DLP) with semantic analysis, today announced a major upgrade to the features and benefits of its Compliance Enforcer 3.0 solution. The new version of the Compliance Enforcer appliance leverages nexTier's powerful DLP algorithms with semantic analysis to provide end-users with auto-classification features, the ability to customize multi-tier workflow, and monitoring capabilities for Web 2.0 applications with HTTP:POST support and analysis.

With 60 percent of all corporate data being accessed via an endpoint (according to IDC research), small- and mid-sized businesses find that as their networks expand, encryption technologies are no longer a viable protection option for their data. nexTier's Compliance Enforcer appliances deliver data security that goes above and beyond what's available through encryption, thereby protecting companies from both inadvertent and malicious attacks while also ensuring company security policies are in line with government and regulatory mandates. Compliance Enforcer uses a highly defensible, patented technology to stop data leaks before they happen. The latest version of Compliance Enforcer builds on the company's secure appliances to bring more features to organizations.

“We continue to enhance and add new features to Compliance Enforcer to ensure our customers are getting the most complete and robust data loss prevention solution on the market,” said Tarique Mustafa, CEO and founder of nexTier Networks. “Compliance Enforcer 3.0 builds on the success of our unique DLP technology with advanced Domain Specific Ontology definition features and tools, a fully customizable sophisticated multi-tier workflow, Web 2.0 application monitoring and analysis, and virtualization capabilities so our customers can integrate our solution for MSSP and SaaS deployments.”

As a major upgrade to the Compliance Enforcer platform, Compliance Enforcer 3.0 is equipped with advanced features and tools for Domain Specific Ontology definition through its rich graphical user interface. The new features and tools allow the chief information security officer's (CISO) staff to create, modify and enhance the out-of-the-box ontology so it can be tailored according to their enterprise's specific needs. This powerful feature further enables automation of Real-Time Data Classification that eliminates the need for pre-tagging and dramatically reduces the total cost of ownership (TCO) by eliminating the cumbersome manual classification and tagging of data. For example, the built-in Ontologies (for HIPAA, PCI, PII, the Financial Industry, and the Legal Industry) that Compliance Enforcer 3.0 ships with can be further upgraded and customized for the specific enterprise (such as one hospital chain versus another one, or one financial institution versus another).

Compliance Enforcer 3.0 is also outfitted with a sophisticated Multi-tier Workflow that can be customized to include various DLP authorities within the enterprise for a real-time forensics and decision-making process for DLP enforcement.

With virtualization becoming increasingly important to businesses of all sizes, the latest version of Compliance Enforcer is also packaged as Virtual DLP Servers for easy MSSP and SaaS based deployment. Also included as part of the solution is a packaged DLP Agent for end-host monitoring.

New capabilities around Web. 2.0 applications monitoring gives enterprises tighter control over the web-based channels that may cause data leak problems. Compliance Enforcer 3.0 does monitoring and analysis of Web 2.0 applications that use both HTTP and HTTPS protocols. Additional protocols, messaging servers and improved support for encryption have also been added to the solution.

Other enhancements that will benefit end-customers include additional support for more file types and formats, support for multiple browsers and clients using MIME file formats, file attachment and secure TLS support for instant messaging, and enhancements to the solution's advanced security features (including NTLM and TSL enhancements for SMTP, and SSL enhancements for XMPP).

In its continued commitment to the value-added reseller (VAR) channel, nexTier Networks is adding Xbridge Systems of Mountain View, Calif. to its growing list of channel partners selling Compliance Enforcer. Xbridge, a leader in IBM 390 Database access technology, has signed a VAR relationship agreement to resell nexTier's Compliance Enforcer DLP solution. Under an OEM arrangement, nexTier's Compliance Enforcer product will be integrated with Xbridge Systems' IBM 390 Database access API to provide DLP capabilities for mission-critical data stored in legacy databases.

“By partnering with nexTier Networks, we now offer to our customers the ability to gain the benefits of DLP for critical data they have stored in their legacy databases,” said Raymond A. Williams Jr., President and CEO of Xbridge Systems, a leading provider of world-class data access, data query, data delivery, data discovery and data loss prevention solutions. “Many of our customers have information vital to the operation of their businesses stored in legacy databases, and the integration of Compliance Enforcer Ver-3.0 with our IBM 390 Database access API will provide them with DLP capabilities for that mission-critical data.”

“Xbridge Systems is a leader in the database access technology market, and we're pleased that Compliance Enforcer is now available to Xbridge's customers,” Mustafa said. “nexTier Networks remains committed to the VAR channel go-to-market model, and our new partnership with Xbridge Systems only further establishes that commitment.”
