CallTower partnered with Microsoft on this product announcement and embraces the advancement of Lync into Skype for Business. CallTower will continue to be the leader (as we have been with Lync) to deploy, host and support Skype for Business as a leading Unified Communication as a Service (UCaaS) solution for years to come. On behalf of the CallTower team, we wanted to make sure that you are aware of the announcement that Microsoft recently made about the upcoming version of Skype for Business scheduled to be release in the first half of 2015.
During the first half of 2015, Lync will become Skype for Business with a new client experience, new server release, updates to Office 365; all hosted by CallTower. Skype for Business will take advantage of the strengths of Skype and Lync, combining the experience you love with security you trust.
