1. Network Function Virtualization (NFV) evolution
Over the past years, NFV was not that much adopted since the pricing of software and hardware are not far apart from each other. But this year, everything will change; NFV will have more recognition and changes. Customers will have more understanding in transferring from hardware to software, making it easier for them to connect data to their daily or important business needs and tasks.
2. Hello, 5G
Patience is a virtue, but when it comes to the data connection, customers want it fast. Some of these customers tend to transfer to other websites or just close the mobile data connection if they cannot get connected. Luckily, telco companies around the world are continuing to improve their services to serve their customers better.
Start saying goodbye to your 4G connection and prepare to experience 5G. This upgrade is currently in the works and testing. With this technological advancement, more and more markets outside the telco industry are taking interest since they can see a new way to get more deliverables done.
3. Stronger security
2016 has been a year with a lot of security breaches and hacks. As a safety precaution, network operators and telcos who store heir data in software decided to beef up their security to avoid such incidents. Due to the negative effects of data breaching and hacks, telco industries and network providers have resorted to doing business-wide encryption. This is to ensure customers that their data is safe in their care.
This 2017, innovation has reached heights and has provided a lot of functionalities that customers enjoy today. But innovation comes along with advancement with other activities such as stronger tools for hacking and data breaching. Therefore, telco outsourcing services and service providers should provide a tougher security along with better services to earn the trust and loyalty of customers.
