Dimension Data was founded in 1983, in order to support its Enterprise Clients. The Global Service Centre was established to provide the required client interface and interaction platform. It serves to provide a single point of contact for DD’s own clients who have in turn outsourced the IT Services to Dimension Data. Merchants, a Dimension Data Company which specializes in client management, was the logical choice for DD to outsource its own interaction and client management operations to. The marriage between DD’s technical proficiency and Merchants expertise in customer experience enhancement, operational efficiency and people development kicked off officially on 1 October 2016

Role of the Center:

Primarily the Centre services Dimension Data’s own clients. These are Enterprise Clients who purchase various IT support as well as managed IT services from Dimension Data. The Global Service Centre operated on behalf of Dimension Data acts as the primary interface for DD’s customers should they need to invoke any support services.
