Job Description:
The Voice Provisioning Engineer’s principal duties are to ensure that voice services are migrated to Velocity efficiently, correctly and in a cost-effective manner. Additionally, the Voice Provisioning Engineer is a point of escalation for the Provisioning Department and Velocity’s NOC, providing training to both when necessary to provide quality control to both departments. The Voice Provisioning Engineer is also responsible for conducting regular audits of vendor and customer billing. Ideal candidates will  have solid organizational skills with close attention to details and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks while bringing high energy as they manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. Major Responsibilities: Oversee Migration of Voice Services to Velocity and Implementation of New Voice Services. Facilitate customer desired changes to Velocity voice services and ensure that they are done correctly. Ensure that newly ordered voice services are implemented correctly and accurately. Be a point of escalation for voice provisioning issues that require multiple Velocity departments to resolve. Quality Control- Ensure that voice provisioning issues are being handled in a timely manner. Address customer concerns regarding newly implemented/migrated voice services. Be a point of contact for NOC and CAMs to escalate to when recently implemented services are not working correctly and assist with resolution when needed; this may also be a customer-facing role when the situation calls for it. Provide training to NOC and Provisioning team to ensure high level of customer satisfaction and maximize uptime for Velocity voice services. Auditing- Conduct weekly and monthly audits.  All other duties as assigned. Qualifications Experience and Education: Experience in account management is required. Experience with in-depth reporting and analysis of data compiled is required. Effective knowledge of Microsoft office applications is required. Must have experience in the management of bulk projects involving multiple ongoing tasks. Experience in wireless networking in relation to 4G deployment is preferred. Networking and carrier equipment background preferred. Experience in international sales opportunities is preferred. Experience in learning new tools and proprietary company software preferred.
