Job Description:
Position:  Field Operations Team Lead Location:  Holland, OH Velocity is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Field Operations Team Lead to help support daily responsibilities and functions of our Velocity Field Technicians. This is an onsite position that work in our Holland, Ohio office and will report to the Field Operations Supervisors. This is a 2nd shift role, 2:30pm-11pm. Rotating weekend work is required. Field Operations Team Lead act as a point of communication for our Velocity Field Technicians.  This role will receive requests, transmit messages and schedule Velocity Field Technicians to customer sites. The position involves verifying arrivals and following up on scheduled appointments. Ideal candidates will be excellent communicators and able to remain calm and composed, especially in challenging situations.     As a Field Ops Team Lead with Velocity, expect to: Schedule/maintain appointments for the jobs with the Velocity Field Technicians (VFTs). Verify the VFTs are not missing their scheduled appointments. Verify the VFTs are offsite in a timely manner when work is completed. Coordinate with multiple internal teams regarding VFT needs. Coordinate and oversee critical dispatches. Receive, prioritize, and resolve both internal and external escalations. Assist in coordinating travel needs for VFTs. Produce daily reports regarding specific KPI’s for Field Operations. This job might be for you if you:  Have a high school diploma or GED. Have strong verbal and written communication skills. Enjoy meeting the needs of customers. Enjoy critical thinking. Consider yourself well organized. Are proficient with Microsoft 365. Skills/Abilities: The ability to work as a team, but able to succeed when completing individual tasks. Ability to learn and understand Velocity’s custom portals and systems. Ability to adapt in difficult situations to meet the needs of internal and external customers. Consistently demonstrate an unconditional polite, professional, patient and courteous manner in dealing with callers, visitors and all employees.
