As a Network Specialist, you will be working with a team of developers dedicated to migrating our system to the cloud. You will also have responsibilities for the deployment and management of cloud components of the Upstream Works product deployed in AWS.

The ideal candidate should be strong in one of the key areas identified below and be able and willing to adapt to requirements in other areas.
Work with the Cloud Dev Operations team in:
Deploying, automating, maintaining and managing AWS cloud-based production, pre-production and dev environments, to ensure the availability, performance, scalability and security of environments.
Maintaining existing infrastructure and developing new virtual infrastructure for applications as they are onboarded.
Creation of CI/CD pipelines for applications
Scripting existing and new infrastructure using repeatable CloudFormation scripts.
Building, releasing and configuration management of the above environments.
Pre-production Acceptance Testing to help assure the quality of our products / services.
Authoring CloudFormation scripts, and helping to maintain existing script repository.
Briefing leadership, internal teams and end users at varying levels of familiarity with cloud technologies, about the technology selections, best practices, and benefits of our approach.
Designing, implementing, and executing Backup and Recovery and Business Continuity processes;
Designing, implementing, and executing security standards;
System troubleshooting and problem solving across platform and application domains.
Suggesting architecture improvements, recommending process improvements.
Evaluating new technology options and vendor products.
Monitoring AWS maintenance and outages, assessing impact, and developing strategies to minimize impact.
Creating and following up on AWS support tickets.
Contribute to best practices across the team, and be a self-starter.
Be prepared to assess and evaluate other Cloud provision options such as Microsoft Azure.
Requirements for cloud network analyst:
Minimum 2 years experience with AWS
AWS Associate level certification. Ideally Solutions Architect
Have AWS DevOps Professional certification or be able to sit the exam within 6 months of hire.
Experience with CloudFormation and CLI scripting.
Experience with automation of Windows DC configuration with Powershell through CFN.
Experience with software development in a .NET environment withWindows Server and SQL Server is an asset
