About the team

Dialpad’s Sales Development Representative will contribute to our Sales team by acquiring new customers, uncovering market opportunities and getting the market talking about Dialpad! In this role, you’ll combine prospecting, lead qualification and industry research to create qualified sales opportunities for your Account Executives. Dialpad’s Sales Development Representative team nurtures relationships with prospects; becoming the initial point of contact by performing outreach through calls, emails and social media. This team works together with Account Executives and has the opportunity for close mentorship and professional development.

Your role

As a Sales Development Representative, you’ll own building prospect lists, pipeline management and maintaining in-depth knowledge of Dialpad products. You’ll collaborate  with your Account Executives to develop prospecting strategies and vertical campaigns unique to your territory. You’ll also support the creation of net new prospecting lists for target accounts and key decision makers. You’ll connect with prospects using  all communication channels (phone, email and social media). In addition, you’ll bring your confidence, commitment and love of winning to hone your craft and launch yourself into a successful sales career!

This hybrid position reports to our Sales Development Manager and is based in our Austin, TX Office.

What you’ll do

  • Prospect ideal target personas by making 50+ outbound calls per day, with additional touchpoints via email
  • Adhere to “speed to lead” best practices for all inbound Marketing Qualified Leads
  • Consistently meet or exceed quota of sales qualified opportunities for Dialpad’s Account Executive team
  • Embrace a growth mindset by prioritizing sales enablement activities
  • Enthusiasm to learn and implement various sales methodologies such as SPICED and BANT
  • Learn to navigate through sales tools such as Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Outreach, Sales Navigator and Dialpad
  • Partner closely with your manager, peers and Account Executives to improve messages, processes and daily activities

The Role

The Business Development Representative role holds an essential position in the growth and development of our sales pipeline, having a direct impact on the business. What we are looking for

  • Hands-on experience with outbound sales techniques (prospecting, cold calling, emailing, etc.).

Your Role

What you’ll do

About the team 

Instrumental in the success and retention of Dialpad customers, our Customer Success teams are the backbone of our company.  The CS organization is responsible for delivering the absolute highest levels of satisfaction and success in the deployment and overall customer journey phases. Your role 

As the Manager, Customer Success you will be responsible for driving initiatives related to reducing churn and downsell in our small business customer base. Customer Success Admin -
Velocity -


Velocity is seeking a Customer Success Admin to support the Customer Success team by performing a variety of administrative and customer service tasks. This role will work closely on a daily basis with various Customer Success Managers, Project Coordinators, Technical Support, and other internal teams with a focus on serving our external customers. This is a fully remote position working 9am-530pm EST Monday-Friday or on-site depending on location. 

 

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:



  • Filling out excel spreadsheets



  • Creating customer locations in V-Select 



  • Setting up billing locations



  • Relaying information between carrier tickets and customer spreadsheets

  • Contract generation


  • Gathering information from tech tickets to assist with document creations where needed



  • Responding to customer correspondence (when needed)



  • Ticket creation or monitoring (when needed)

  • Handling customer equipment order requests
  • Billing requests/submissions


  • Providing overall admin support to Project Coordinators and Customer Success Managers



  • Other duties as assigned by leadership



Qualifications, Experience & Education:



  • High school diploma, Associate degree preferred



  • 1+ years’ related experience. Previous telecom/IT experience preferred but not required. 



  • Strong customer service experience that showcases a professional, patient, and courteous approach to working with customers, visitors, and other team members.



  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:


  • Proficient in MC Office applications with specific emphasis on Excel and Outlook. 

  • Ability to learn and understand custom software systems/portals and other online tools.

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail. 

  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical ability to problem solve.

  • Self-starter and can work well independently as well as with others on a team.

  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects with a sense of urgency. 

  • Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
