About the team

Instrumental in growing and retaining our VSB (very-small business) customer base, our VSB Sales Team delights and excites our VSB customers by helping them start a Dialpad account. Using your problem-solving skills and inherent motivation to help others, you will delight and assist our customers from their first touchpoints with Dialpad.

Dialpad’s VSB team plays an essential role in the Sales Organization. This team partners closely with Support, Marketing, and other Sales teams to constantly improve the customer experience.

Your Role

Dialpad’s VSB Sales Specialists will help future customers start a Dialpad account. In this role, you’ll combine your ability to help people, actively listen to their problems/needs, and match how Dialpad can solve their problems uniquely, so they stay a Dialpad customer for a long time.

This position reports to our Manager, VSB Sales Philippines and has the opportunity to be based in our Manilla/Remote Office. Preferred working hours are 8AM-5PM PST, remote position

What you’ll do

  • Own new logos acquisition, lead to opportunity conversion, opportunity to sales won and team revenue targets 
  • Make an impact with our customers as you will be their first point of contact
  • Partner with Billing, Support, Marketing, and other sales teams to bring forth the best customer experience possible
  • Research and keep up to date with product changes that will benefit your customers
  • You’ll get first hand experience on a full sales cycle (from initial interest to closed-won deals)
  • You’ll be the first point of contact for our Sales Lines and Live Chat, speaking with people predominantly in North America, some at times, all over the world!
  • You’ll help our future customers sign up for an account and work with them to set them up for success

Skills you’ll bring 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (Business Administration is preferred but not required)
  • Ability to read, write, and speak english fluently
  • Previous experience in sales, preferably in Saas
  • High level of emotional IQ
  • A high level of energy and willingness to learn!
  • Experience with Salesforce, VoIP industry, and Outreach preferred by not required
  • Experience with G-suite

The team
The Product Engineering, Call Features team is focused on the control of the call and provides a stable platform for the Talk and Contact Center applications to be built on top of. An interface between Product Engineering applications like Talk (Phones, departments) Contact Center (call centers, coaching teams, sales centers), and the Telephony platform (bare metal, SIP, media transport), Call Features provide important features such as fan-outs to member of a department, queuing logic for inbound call centers, routing of calls via IVRs or Voice, local presence enabling dialing out from the local area code of the call recipient, Coaching Teams for listening in and live mentorship, monitoring, and more.

The backend engineering work of the Call Features team is central to complex debugging of a distributed system using Google App Engine logging and custom tooling and is critical to Dialpad managing a high volume of concurrent calls. 

Your role
As a senior software engineer, you will be owning the roadmap of some high-impact call features components like transfers and call parking. This involves working with the various technical and nontechnical stakeholders when coming up with new features for these components, identifying areas of improvement, and prioritizing a combination of feature-related and engineering work with a roadmap that has at least a year's worth of milestones.

  • Manage your time and drive the technical roadmap for your feature areas.
  • Improve our shared engineering standards and processes.

About the team

What you’ll do

As a WebRTC Engineer you understand how the Telnyx WebRTC platform works as a whole, while also being able to identify each underlying service and its purpose, proxies, back-to-back-user agents, SDK clients, push notification services, etc. You use this knowledge plus your experience working with WebRTC technologies to design new features and guide software developers on their implementation. We’re looking for people with a strong background in WebRTC technologies and interest in building successful products or systems; you’re comfortable in dealing with lots of moving pieces; you have exquisite attention to detail; and you’re comfortable learning new technologies and systems.


In This Role You Will
  • Understand how all WebRTC services work and how they are integrated to the platform.
  • Handle level 3 troubleshooting escalations and triaging.
  • Analyze traffic patterns and identify issues and anomalies.
  • React to critical alerts in order to rapidly return to a full-service state.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve voice and network protocol communication issues.
  • Interface with partner organizations for interconnections and expansions.

You May Be A Fit For This Role If You Have

About you

What you will achieve

  • Lead all post-sales activities for Dialpad’s customers through strong relationship-building, product knowledge, planning, and execution.
  • Establish and oversee the customer's adoption, training, and development of best practices to continually drive incremental value and return on the customer's investment.
  • Conduct Business Reviews and status calls with the intention of creating alignment of common goals, identifying growth or risk opportunities,  and communicating performance metrics and insights. 
  • Maintain a deep understanding of our solutions and speak with customers about the most meaningful features/functionality for their specific business needs.
  • Manage customer escalations with urgency by documenting open issues, facilitating regular status meetings and working cross-functionally to resolution.

In your first 30 days: 

  • Attend BaseCamp, our Revenue Org onboarding program, where you’ll learn all about our company, product, internal systems, and CS approach.
  • Work closely with your manager and teammates to get up to speed on all things CS: processes, tool set, customer base, etc.
  • Get to know cross-functional partners that we work with most frequently, like Sales, Professional Services, Product, Support, and AR.
  • Head into month 2 with a solid grasp of where to go to find the right answers to customer questions.

In your first 60 days: 

  • Familiarize yourself with your book of business using qualitative and quantitative data and begin getting introduced to your customers by your teammates.
  • Establish a regular cadence with your customers to stay aligned on business goals, product updates, etc.
  • Manage upcoming renewals and forecast renewals for the next quarter to ensure predictability for the business.
  • Dig into the product more and more as you receive specific questions from your customers - this is when everything really starts to click!

By 90 days: 

  • Start conducting Business Reviews with customers to demonstrate value, get to know key stakeholders, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Lean into your role as the “voice of the customer” within Dialpad by funneling feedback from your customers to Product and others.
  • Oversee your customers’ adoption, training, and development of best practices to continually drive incremental value and ROI.
  • Manage escalations by documenting open issues, facilitating regular status meetings, and working cross-functionally to resolution. 
  • Track accounts to identify churn risks and work proactively to mitigate those risks.

Who you are

First and foremost, you love working with customers and helping them realize value by achieving (or exceeding!) their goals. You know how to communicate clearly, use data to your advantage, and organize your time like a boss. Picking up new technology skills excites you, and even though you might not know much about cloud telephony right now, the idea of learning the ins and outs of Dialpad gets you pumped.   • Minimum 3-4 years experience working at a SaaS company

The team

Your role

As an Implementation Specialist, you are at the crux of customer interaction and enablement, supporting and troubleshooting your product area, and technical implementations. As a WebRTC Engineer you understand how the Telnyx WebRTC platform works as a whole, while also being able to identify each underlying service and its purpose, proxies, back-to-back-user agents, SDK clients, push notification services, etc. You use this knowledge plus your experience working with WebRTC technologies to design new features and guide software developers on their implementation.   • Understand how all WebRTC services work and how they are integrated to the platform.
  • Handle level 3 troubleshooting escalations and triaging.

Your role

As Head of ANZ Marketing,  will create and execute impactful regional marketing programs for the region. Dialpad’s CX Development team plays an essential role in coaching, training and keeping the CX org up to date on all things Dialpad.  This team collaborates closely with Support leadership, Product Management, and our Help Center Content manager  to constantly improve agent and customer education.

Your role

As a Support Development Trainer, you’ll own training any new Support agents as well as continuous training on the Dialpad product as well as communication platforms, mobile networks, SIP messaging, network protocols, amp; desk phone provisioning in a SIP enviornment. You’ll work closely with Support Leadershsip, the Telephony Team, and your fellow teammates to ensure you have all of the necessary information to build training plans and documentation.  You’ll also help create and present lesson plans for live trainings with the team. In addition, you’ll help bring additional coaching and training resources to the Support agents through our communication channels. 

This position reports to our Training amp; QA Manager and has the opportunity to be based in the Philipines working 10 am - 7 pm EST, Monday - Friday. 

What you’ll do [i,e., Responsibilities]

  • Owns building and executing an on-going training program to keep Support informed of all product updates, troubleshooting steps, amp; technical knowledge
  • Owns and collaborates in coordinating and presenting in our 8 week new hire onboarding program where all Support new hires attend daily remote classes to learn and prepare for their role in providing customer support. 
  • Owns and collaborates in creating and presenting process docs on any support duties and tools (life of a support call, chat, and email/ ZD how to)
  • Assist in creating and presenting training materials/process docs on any new Product features for Dialpad and Dialpad Meetings
  • Assist in creating and presenting training materials/process docs on any new backend processes for supporting new Product features for DP and DPM
  • Assist in creating and presenting training materials/process docs on network testing amp; troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with Support Leadership and Support Quality Auditors to identify gaps in training materials and makes revisions accordingly 

Skills you’ll bring [i,e., Qualifications]

  • Work experience as a Technical Trainer or similar role
  • Strong network skills, both LAN and WAN
  • Deskphone provisioning in a SIP environment
  • Experience in customer service positions is a plus
  • Call Center Experience a plus
  • Knowledge of Learning Management Software (LMS)
  • Familiarity with interactive learning activities
  • Excellent written communication and documentations skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • BSc degree in Education, or Technical field a plus
  • Additional certification in training is a plus

What you will achieve

In your first 30 days: Discover Dialpad

  • You’ll work closely with a current VSB Leader to get up to speed on current reporting process, workflows, systems and data sets 
  • You’ll cultivate relationships with Global Sales, Marketing, and Recruiting teams to understand strategy and goals
  • You’ll become an expert in our key Sales systems: Salesforce, Outreach, Domo, amp; Highspot
  • You’ll collaborate with YOUR sales team and assess their feedback on what to start, stop, and continue in order to accelerate business growth
  • You’ll shadow sales reps workflow and discovery, demo, and set up calls, and develop your own Dialpad storyline

In your first 60 days: Be a contributor

  • You’ll implement systems and processes that optimize for efficiency amp; effectiveness in achieving sales team goals
  • You’ll develop weekly cadence with your sales reps to coach and discuss deal strategy, forecasts, and personal amp; professional development
  • You’ll build out persona, industry, and/or use case best practices designed to develop an adaptable, customer-centric sales team 
  • You’ll be able to provide recommendations for sales process and system improvements that up-levels Global Sales org 

By 90 days: Be a leader

  • Working with a current VSB Leader, you’ll identify, interview, and onboard new reps that possess Dialpad culture/values, a history of consistent sales success, and a growth mindset
  • You’ll forecast and quantify our gaps, risks, and opportunities to support our Sales and recruiting strategy as we grow
  • You’ll recommend operational changes that can drive increased performance. You’ll generate business hypotheses of what drove those recommendations
