About The Role

Our Regional Channel Sales Manager will be responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and managing resellers, VARs, and Master Agent consultants focused on next-generation business communications. You will work closely with Sales and Marketing to manage the regional channel pipeline and go-to-market activities that generate incremental revenue for Dialpad.

Responsibilities

  • Drive indirect sales revenue by recruiting, on-boarding, and managing resellers, VARs and Master Agent partners.
  • Partner with Sales to drive lead volume and close deals through partners in their territories
  • Work with Partners to drive joint marketing initiatives through events and other field campaigns to grow joint pipeline
  • Deliver compelling capabilities demonstrations of the Dialpad platform and address high-level technical questions, serving as a subject matter expert around how UCaaS  platforms fit within overall business communications
  • Generate, build, and maintain relationships with channel partners to gain visibility and mindshare to create revenue-generating opportunities
  • Pursue, contact, qualify, negotiate, and close potential partners
  • Facilitate the relationships and identify responsibilities between the channel partners and Dialpad sales representatives to maintain the momentum of sales activities and goals
  • Create and implement sales incentive programs

Requirements 

  • 3-5+ years Channel Account Management/Territory Sales experience on-boarding channel partners for a software company in the enterprise software space
  • UCaaS and/or CCaaS channel experience in Japan is preferred
  • Recent experience working for an emerging tech company
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with recruiting Direct Reseller partners, value-added resellers and Master/Sub Agencies
  • Has met/exceeded own direct sales goals
  • Must show a proven methodology to prospect and build pipeline
  • Proven track record of sustained over performance against sales quota and pipeline goals
  • Fluent in Japanese and Business level in English

The Partner Marketing Team is responsible for supporting go-to-market efforts to and through partner relationships. They help shape strategy, recruit new partners, build a world class partner ecosystem, and  manage the entire lifecycle of partner relationships. Partner Marketing Managers are aligned to our external partners (technology partners, strategic alliances, channel partners, integration partners), internal partners (channel marketing, business development, channel sales), and act as a hub for all marketing activity.

What you will achieve

In your first 30 days: 

  • You’ll work closely with the Director of Strategic Alliances, PMM, and Partner Marketing Manager to get up to speed on partnership launch roadmap and existing co-marketing/co-selling plans and activities
  • You’ll work with PMM, customer marketing, demand gen, and enablement to understand the marketing campaigns and content to leverage into co-selling opportunities 
  • You’ll understand our existing partner ecosystem and be able to identify key areas of growth/focus with our internal stakeholders and external partners 
  • By the end of your first month, you’ll understand our partner roadmap, existing partner ecosystem, and existing campaign activities. You’ll be able to lead the conversation with our external partner marketing counterparts and project manage launch deliverables with other marketing stakeholders. 

In your first 60 days: 

  • You’ll take ownership of the partner launch roadmap and own the project management and execution of marketing deliverables of launches. 
  • You’ll coordinate the planning and execution of supported demand-creation activities and build supporting processes, both partner-led and Dialpad-led
  • You’ll develop strong relationships with key partner managers amp; key stakeholders
  • You’ll work with internal and external teams on scope of work, project timeline, and resourcing needed for effective execution of partner marketing deliverables 

By 90 days: 

  • You’ll be our go-to expert for all tech partner marketing initiatives and people data related questions, providing support to our broader People initiatives and projects
  • You’ll manage app marketplace growth and recruitment of new users and partners 
  • You’ll set data driven goals and metrics and measure and report on effectiveness of partner marketing programs and activities

About The Role

Responsibilities
  • Develop high-quality native iOS applications with beautiful custom UI.

About The Role

Responsibilities

  • Develop easy-to-use, scalable, robust, high volume interactive client/server applications
  • Code with Vue.JS and other JavaScript libraries and have an excellent command over HTML, and CSS
  • Work with Python on Google App Engine

  • Manage carrier escalations and trouble tickets, carrier interoperability, network monitoring, DID probes and test calls

You will contribute to our global Sales team by acquiring new customers, uncovering market opportunities, and getting the market talking about Dialpad! The team

You will contribute to our global Sales team by acquiring new customers, uncovering market opportunities, and getting the market talking about Dialpad! The global Sales team is made up of Sales Development, Channel, Enablement, SMB, MidMarket, and Enterprise teams—all teeming with unbridled passion and grit. What you will achieve

In your first 30 days: 

  • You will be welcomed with a first in class onboarding experience that includes equipment set up, a sweet swag package, and a top-notch training program 
  • You’ll meet your team of SDRs and hold your first 1:1s and team meetings
  • You’ll meet with the Director of Sales Development weekly to review standard operating procedures and become more familiar with our prospecting strategy
  • You’ll become an expert in our key sales systems: Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and Dialpad.
  • By the end of your first month, you’ll be stepping into full-time management of your team, and leaning on your fellow managers for any questions

In your first 60 days: 

  • You’ll begin coaching and analyzing your team’s skills, finding where there are gaps and how you can uplevel our ability to source new pipeline
  • You’ll run a weekly team meeting and 1:1s with your SDRs, a biweekly team coaching session, and attend weekly leadership meetings
  • You’ll have met with each of your SDRs specifically to talk about the career path 
  • You have a deep understanding of sales tools, processes, and all reporting dashboards

By 90 days: 

  • You’ll have done a self-assessment of your strength and weaknesses and sat down with the Director to develop an L amp;D plan for yourself, including how to utilize your stipend for continued learning
  • You’ve found your groove with your team, every week feels like a well-oiled machine
  • You’re now involved with the interview process for SDRs and help make hiring decisions for all teams within the org
  • You spend your days empowering your reps and collaborating with sales leadership to identify gaps amp; areas of improvement

You will be responsible for managing our existing partners as well as recruiting and onboarding new regional partnerships to drive indirect sales in your designated territory.

  • BA in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related quantitative discipline required; MBA a plus
  • Strong GAAP understanding and experience with P amp;L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow analysis, including ASC606
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously – demonstrated initiative and inquisitive nature
  • Exceptional organization skills and an impeccable attention to detail
  • Effective collaboration and communication skills across all levels of the organization

The team

Every engineer on our global Engineering team is given the opportunity to take ownership of a large portion of the product where they’re able to see immediate results. What you will achieve

In your first 30 days: 

  • You’ll build an understanding of Dialpad’s cloud product and platform infrastructure including Google Cloud, AWS, and other systems that support our products/integrations.  
  • You’ll become closely engaged in the security controls that are implemented in our cloud infrastructures including access control, logging, configuration management, secure development lifecycles. 
  • You’ll work with our Sr. Security Engineer, Security and Compliance Manager, and Engineering tech leads to understand the risks that need to be addressed in our systems and the project plans associated with the mitigation. 
  • By the end of your first month, you’ll have a thorough understanding of our product systems and be ready to embark on implementing your first projects to enable security controls. 

In your first 60 days: 

  • You’ll work on a couple of projects to enable automation of security controls in GCP and AWS. This will include building of the security controls, implementing in test and production environments, and documenting the management of the controls for engineering and security. 
  • You’ll enable and consolidate logging from infrastructure components into a centralized service. From the logging intake you will build alerts associated with anomalies that need to be investigated by the engineering team.  
  • You will gain a more thorough understanding of our security vulnerability detection and remediation pipeline. 

By 90 days: 

  • You will complete projects that will help us reach our security compliance objectives.

Every engineer on our global Engineering team is given the opportunity to take ownership of a large portion of the product where they’re able to see immediate results. What you will achieve

 

In your first 30 days: 

  • You’ll work closely with the Engineering Manager, Mentor and peer team members to get up to speed on UberConference product overview, features, setting up the development environment, development process, etc…
  • You’ll complete the Product onboarding exam to get all the required access for code submissions and deployments
  • You’ll start on some of the small improvements and starter project to get comfortable with the code flow and the development process
  •  By end of first month, you’ll be familiar with all the stakeholders you will be working with on a day-to-day basis, and also with the development process end to end

In your first 60 days: 

  • You’ll continue on the starter project and also be involved in some technical debt which will help you go the breadth and depth of some of the product features
  • You’ll work closely with the tech lead and senior developers within the team on the design and approaches
  • You’ll start providing the estimates, task breakups, and timelines for any activity taken up
  • You’ll start contributing in fixing any issues(product defect, regressions, improvement, etc..) which gets reported
  • You’ll start giving the work status in the daily stand up meetings and to the product manager

 

By 90 days: 

  • You’ll start contributing towards OKRs which will have a business impact from the product strategy point.
  • You’ll provide the detailed plan for the committed OKRs and ensure you are going on the right track from implementation and also from timeline perspective.
  • You’ll start having cross functional collaboration with other product teams based on the OKR you are working to ensure larger objective of the OKR is met
  • You’ll ensure highest code quality and feature quality is achieved through code reviews, unit tests, performance benchmarks, etc...
  • You’ll work closely with the UX design team, Product Management team and QA team to ensure the OKR is being delivered as per the defined requirement and scope, and get clarity wherever there is ambiguity
  • You’ll start helping the team with the on-call issues, and understand the process of Beta and prod deployments to be ready for product on-call rotation

 

Who you are

The team

You will contribute to our Revenue Operations team by supporting its growing Sales team. This rapidly-growing business within dialpad offers a creative, fast-paced, entrepreneurial work environment. As the Salesforce.com Developer, you will be the primary point of contact for multiple user groups and global teams who require maintenance, configuration, reporting and training. What you will achieve

In your first 30 days: 

  • Work with your team and the Director of Quality to build an understanding of the product portfolio, the business workflows in the product  and the release cadence 
  • Work closely with your Director to understand the vision, challenges, and opportunities ahead. 
  • You will own , participate and contribute towards a part of the functional and system  regression test activities 
  • You will build an understanding of existing internal automation tools and frameworks.
  • By the end of your first month, you’ll understand the team structure, the stakeholders  and the product architecture .

In your first 60 days: 

  • You will start developing a deeper understanding of Product Features and terminology.
  • At a broader level You will understand the goals and challenges of the QA team
  • You will work closely with the senior QA engineers and leads on the Product side
  • You will own specialized areas in Regression and will be equipped to provide solutions to enhance the regression / functional testing activities.
  • By the end of your first 60 days, you will have gained the familiarity of working with the existing automation test framework and be able to build and demo at least one end to end product test running from it.

By 90 days: 

  • You will contribute towards the functional test automation activities with newer work flows and will be actively involved in the upkeep and test script maintenance
  • You will be in the process of owning up the Test responsibilities in the designated areas of specialization

What you will achieve

 

In your first 30 days: 

  • You’ll work closely with the Engineering Manager, Mentor and peer team members to get up to speed on UberConference product overview, features, setting up the development environment, development process, etc…
  • You’ll complete the Product onboarding exam to get all the required access for code submissions and deployments
  • You’ll start on some of the small improvements and starter project to get comfortable with the code flow and the development process
  •  By end of first month, you’ll be familiar with all the stakeholders you will be working with on a day-to-day basis, and also with the development process end to end

In your first 60 days: 

  • You’ll continue on the starter project and also be involved in some technical debt which will help you go the breadth and depth of some of the product features
  • You’ll work closely with the tech lead and senior developers within the team on the design and approaches
  • You’ll start providing the estimates, task breakups, and timelines for any activity taken up
  • You’ll start contributing in fixing any issues(product defect, regressions, improvement, etc..) which gets reported
  • You’ll start giving the work status in the daily stand up meetings and to the product manager

 

By 90 days: 

  • You’ll start contributing towards OKRs which will have a business impact from the product strategy point.
  • You’ll provide the detailed plan for the committed OKRs and ensure you are going on the right track from implementation and also from timeline perspective.

You love to develop easy-to-use, scalable, robust, high volume interactive client/server applications. On the front-end side, you don’t rest with just plain javascript but are ready to play with the latest single page app frameworks like Vue.JS and other advanced JavaScript libraries. You also don’t shy away to crank out excellent HTML, and CSS.

Responsibilities

  • Develop flexible test frameworks that substantially increase developer confidence. 
  • Work with product and engineering teams to understand the vision and requirements.
  • Participate in software design discussions, reviews, and test strategy sessions.
  • Advocate for doing the right thing even if it’s difficult.
  • Develop and implement reporting that will contribute to rapid resolution of failures.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive test strategy.
  • Publish and communicate test results and progress.
  • Mentor other engineers and your knowledge of automation and testing best practices.
  • Lots of test case and client/service simulation development in Python.
  • Designing and building object oriented automation frameworks. 
  • Direct experience applying testing methodologies including regression, integration, load and performance testing.
  • Independently analyzing and troubleshooting advanced Python code and microservices.
  • Extensive knowledge of cloud technologies, including the testing of REST services.
  • Comfortable communicating cross-functionally and across management levels.
  • Good people skills as you'll be working with other teams in different geographies.

 Bonus if you have:

  • Thorough knowledge of network traffic concepts and terminology
  • Experience in VoIP, Telecommunication Systems, and Communication technologies
  • Relevant experience working with RTP or SIP services
  • A passion for continuous learning and new technologies
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Hands-on expertise on various VoIP amp; TDM based testing tools like SIPp, Navtel, Spectra2
