What you will achieve

In your first 30 days: 

  • You’ll work closely with the your Sr Manager as well as the rest of the Professional Services leadership team to learn about Dialpad as a company and also the Dialpad product offerings 
  • You’ll start to network with teams you will be working closely with such as Sales, Customer Success, and Support 
  • You’ll work with the enablement team as they walk through your onboarding classes; these classes will be an introduction to the SA role and the Professional Services team 

In your first 60 days: 

  • You’ll begin to shadow your team’s calls to get a good grasp of the Dialpad deployment process
  • You’ll learn the Dialpad deployment methodology and the various tools you will be using to assist our customers during deployment 
  • You’ll learn how to assist Dialpad’s customer’s integration, hardware and technical needs

By 90 days: 

  • You’ll lead, coach and inspire an outstanding Solution Architect team

Who you are:

You're a customer centric, technical minded person who has a deep comprehension of networking, telephony networks, and integrations using Rest APIs. You really enjoy technical challenges that come with onboarding new clients. You enjoy having a voice and being a team player. 

Skills you will bring:

  • Experience leading a technical professional services telecommunications team
  • Experience mentoring and developing technical staff
  • Experience assigning resources to accomplish needs of the business
  • Excellent grasp of various modern cloud communications platforms such as Google G-Suite and Office 365
  • Experience with Business VoIP Telephony Services (On-Premise or SaaS)
  • Deep understanding and experience with the following VoIP CODECs and technologies (G.711, G.729, G.722, OPUS, H.264, VP8, VP9, WebRTC, H.323, SIP, Network Analyzers)
  • Strong understanding and experience with:

About the team

The Channel Team is part of the global Dialpad Sales team. Your role

As a National Channel Manager, you’ll further accelerate and develop Dialpad’s Channel Program. You’ll also help create partner recruitment and development initiatives with the goal of increasing new partner activation. Your role

A Renewal Manager at Dialpad is responsible for providing best in class strategic renewal management and execution across a portfolio of existing Dialpad customers. Serving as their assigned customers main point of contact for their contract extension with Dialpad, they will foster a high level of trust, satisfaction and engagement across their assigned accounts. 

The RM will develop and execute the renewal strategy for their portfolio. The RM will own managing the end to end renewal process, negotiation and contract terms. To be successful, the RM will partner with the Customer Success Manager to make sure our customers are realizing the value of their investment, and are able to demonstrate the value differentiation of Dialpad versus our competitors.  

The RM is a member of the Customer Success organization, will carry a revenue renewal quota and will report directly to the Director of Renewals Management.  

What you'll do

  • Drive, and lead the renewals process in collaboration with the CSM  to preserve and improve customer contracts and relationships
  • Effectively engage with key decision makers to identify customer requirements and uncover roadblocks to ensure timely commitments
  • Achieve or exceed quarterly revenue goals, tied to retention, growth and term extension of existing customer contracts 
  • Maintain and report an accurate forecast of renewals
  • Negotiate and execute renewal contracts that align to customer goals
  • Discover and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities during contract renewal to maximize customer growth
  • Communicate risk clearly and partner with the CSM in developing resolution strategies
  • Escalate whenever appropriate to help resolve customer concerns
  • Serve as the voice of the customer and collect feedback to drive continuous improvement across all areas including product
  • Effectively communicate benefits of the customer’s Dialpad solution and differentiate from competitive solutions
  • Own the renewal sales cycle, from developing a strategy, to building the relationships with key stakeholders to negotiation and contracting

Skills you'll bring

  • 3-5 years of experience in Renewals, Account Management, Customer Success or other applicable customer facing role

Your role

A Renewal Manager at Dialpad is responsible for providing best in class strategic renewal management and execution across a portfolio of existing Dialpad customers. The RM will develop and execute the renewal strategy for their portfolio. The RM will own managing the end to end renewal process, negotiation and contract terms. What you will achieve

  • Lead all post-sales activities for Dialpad’s customers through strong relationship-building, product knowledge, planning, and execution.

In your first 30 days: 

  • Attend BaseCamp, our Revenue Org onboarding program, where you’ll learn all about our company, product, internal systems, and CS approach.
  • Work closely with your manager and teammates to get up to speed on all things CS: processes, tool set, customer base, etc.
  • Get to know cross-functional partners that we work with most frequently, like Sales, Professional Services, Product, Support, and AR.
  • Head into month 2 with a solid grasp of where to go to find the right answers to customer questions.

In your first 60 days: 

  • Familiarize yourself with your book of business using qualitative and quantitative data and begin getting introduced to your customers by your teammates.
  • Establish a regular cadence with your customers to stay aligned on business goals, product updates, etc.
  • Manage upcoming renewals and forecast renewals for the next quarter to ensure predictability for the business.
  • Dig into the product more and more as you receive specific questions from your customers - this is when everything really starts to click!

By 90 days: 

  • Start conducting Business Reviews with customers to demonstrate value, get to know key stakeholders, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Lean into your role as the “voice of the customer” within Dialpad by funneling feedback from your customers to Product and others.
  • Oversee your customers’ adoption, training, and development of best practices to continually drive incremental value and ROI.

The team

The Product Infrastructure team focuses on performance, monitoring, stability, and security of Dialpad’s Talk, Contact Center, and Sell products. About the team

Your role

As an Accounts Receivable Analyst, you’ll own the billing and contract review process, along with assisting with customer disputes and credits. Dialpad’s Support Development Trainer’s are Dialpad Product and Support process champions who will provide training and support to our T1 Support and Premium Support Agents to further develop their knowledge and skills. You’ll work closely with Support Leadershsip, the Telephony Team, and your fellow teammates to ensure you have all of the necessary information to build training plans and documentation.  You’ll also help create and present lesson plans for live trainings with the team. This position reports to our Training amp; QA Manager and has the opportunity to be based in the Philipines working 10 am - 7 pm EST, Monday - Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Own all aspects of project planning and execution for building a scalable, reliable, and high quality business communications product suite
  • Collaborate with BT leadership to define and develop Dialpad’s Program Management Office (PMO) structure, strategy and roadmap
  • Partner closely with cross functional business owners, BT, product managers, software engineers, data scientists, product designers, QA and leadership to gather requirements, scope effort, manage resource allocation, release software features and products to our internal customers
  • Facilitate cross-functional communication with other teams both inside and outside of the BT organization, ensuring that requirements are well understood, and that priorities and release schedule expectations are managed
  • Build and run processes that allow for the maximum agility and adaptation across engineering teams while measuring and maintaining the highest possible product quality
  • Brainstorm and communicate technical concepts, ideas and issues at the appropriate level of abstraction to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and partners

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in technical project/program management or engineering ownership of software products and/or platforms at scale
  • Experience with translating product strategies into program/project plans; including scope and dependency management, stakeholder management, deliverables (KPIs), schedule, risk management, and resource planning
  • Deep understanding of the software product development lifecycle and ability to manage projects from start to finish using Agile and waterfall methodologies
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills; must be comfortable communicating with and presenting to all levels of an organization
  • Ability to understand and extract action plans from complex technical discussions amp; translate into succinct messaging for multi-functional and executive status reporting
  • Self-motivated, independent, and proactive; demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities; can quickly triage, prioritize, and lead under pressure
  • Technical understanding of different components of a modern software product/platform; such as databases, cloud infrastructure, REST APIs, frontend amp; backend frameworks, security, performance and scaling etc

You’ll oversee the front-end design strategy of the Dialtone Design System — style, components, and patterns; and foster a sense of ownership from your team throughout the process. You will bring your experience as a subject matter expert in front-end engineering by building out Design System styles and components. Your front-end engineering experience can be characterized as “front of the front-end.”

  • Leading By Design
    Though Dialtone serves both designers and engineers, it all starts with the end user’s experience. You’ll have the opportunity to lead and heavily influence how Dialtone and the design system team mature to take on large, high-visibility initiatives, as well as how other designers and engineers contribute.
  • Design-focused Prototyping
    Build up a growing prototyping practice by identifying design- and code-based skills and technologies to ship high-quality outcomes faster.
  • Tooling and documentation
    Lead the strategy and creation of resources, tools, and documentation to support consumers of Dialtone — e.g. designers, product engineers, third-party developers, etc.
  • Product Management
    Manage Design System backlog, roadmap, priorities, scope, and tasking for design system features, documentation, and communication channels. Foster cross-functional relationships and evangelize design system adoption. You will also be providing design leadership and guidance to teams around using shared patterns and identifying opportunities to create new patterns and components within their workstreams.
  • Doesn’t Have To Be Complex To Be Useful
    Sometimes the most useful and delightful things are simple. We recognize design systems and the products they serve are naturally complex while at the same time trying to provide our users with intuitive and approachable experiences. You’ll be at the forefront unraveling and making sense of complex interactions with a bias for simplicity and elegance.

Expanding Our Footprint

Dialtone has the unique challenge to support not only traditional Web, Android, and iOS interfaces, but desk phones and conference room hardware as well. This role will be integral in helping Dialtone expand its reach as we rethink the physical meeting space experience.

Skills you’ll bring 

  • 8+ years of related experience, 3+ years of design system experience and/or leading front-end design projects.
  • Expert-level knowledge and proven experience in HTML, modern CSS, and UI-oriented Javascript.
  • You have designed and documented styles, components, and patterns that enable other designers and developers to build features.
  • Proven understanding of how to build, architect, and evangelize design systems.
  • Have a strong understanding of interaction design, heuristics, Gestalt principles, usability, and accessibility best practices.
  • Strong opinions of, and history in, building inclusive, accessible experiences.
  • Solid familiarity with modern front-end bundlers, CLI, package managers and build tools including Webpack, npm and yarn.
  • Past experience working with and mentoring junior developers and designers.

About this role
