About the team

Dialpad’s Account Executive, SMB will solve tangible client obstacles by redefining their definition of what’s possible through implementation of Dialpad Talk, Contact Center, and/or Sell. Dialpad’s SMB Sales team plays an essential role in achieving corporate business objectives.  This team collaborates closely with Sales Engineers, Sales Managers and their peers to constantly improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the full sales process.

Your role

As an Account Executive, SMB you’ll own the complete sales process from start to finish. You’ll work closely with Sales Managers and Sales Engineers to take a small business prospect to an active Dialpad client. About the team

The Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) team is responsible for creating some of the best models in existence for real-time transcription of customers' calls. Our engineers use cutting-edge techniques to ensure that each user has the best possible experience with our transcription service. ASR is also highly supported by teams of data analysts, curators, and annotators, as well as back-end engineers so that our engineers can focus on research, experimentation, and releasing production-ready models.

Members of the team are involved in the wider ASR community; we attend conferences and submit papers to them. The team hosts regular sessions where the latest community research is discussed and internal experimentation is presented, and engineers also invest significant time examining, testing, and contributing to new open-source tools. Articles by team members that highlight our work are continually published on the internet.

Dialpad’s ASR team plays a foundational role in our Ai products; everything derives from high-quality call transcripts.  This team collaborates closely with the Ai-DATA (analytics and annotation), Ai Engineering (back-end infrastructure), and NLP teams to constantly improve customer-facing Ai products, such as call summaries, action items, and interesting moments. 

Your role

As our newest ASR Engineer, you’ll own our model build pipeline, our annotation platform, and our formatting/inverse textnorm strategy. You’ll work closely with colleagues within ASR and across other Ai teams to ensure reliable, automated model builds, high quality data annotation, and transcripts that are a joy to read.

This position reports to our ASR Manager and has the opportunity to be based in our Seattle office (although most team members are distributed).

What you’ll do

In your first 30 days: 

You’ll be onboarded and introduced to our large team of speech recognition engineers.

You’ll explore and become familiar with our in-house tools and resources.

You'll get to use our product and understand the key role that real-time speech recognition plays in Dialpad’s Ai products. 

You'll be introduced to our vast array of available data sets that can be used for training state-of-the-art models.

By the end of your first month, you'll have trained a baseline model for experimentation using our pipelines and tools.

In your first 60 days: 

You'll have set short-term goals to improve on a baseline system.

You'll be helping us expand our existing modelling technology to multiple dialects and languages.

You'll have made your first contributions to our codebase and documentation.

By 90 days:

Your role

As a Paid Search Specialist, you will be responsible for working with the demand generation team to implement and analyze paid search campaigns and programs, reporting, analyzing, and providing recommendations that make significant impacts on the business. About the team

Your role

As a Product Manager of Analytics , you’ll own specifically the real time aspect of the Analytics product for UCaaS and CCaaS, this will include but not be limited to real time dashboards, alerts for different personas in the UCaaS and CCaaS product portfolio, like Coaches, Supervisors, Agents, etc . You’ll work closely with the sales organization and customers to flush out the requirements, with Designers to define the UX of the product, with Engineering to write the requirements and build the product, and with Product Marketing to launch the product and define the Go to Market strategy.  You’ll also help create the short and long term roadmap for the product. In addition, you’ll help bring other products to market, as each feature and product has an impact on Analytics, you will work closely with the entire portfolio and support their respective needs to bring to market their own products. AI is also a very important part of what Dialpad offers, and you will review how AI can be infused inside the Analytics product in order to define the next generation of analytics.

This position reports to our Senior Director of Product Management  and has the opportunity to be based in our Buenos Aires, Argentina Office.

What you’ll do 

  • Develop expertise in the Dialpad Analytics Platform
  • Establish strong working relationships with key counterparts in Engineering, Design, Partnerships, and Sales.

Who we're looking for

  • 6+ years of professional software development experience with an object-oriented programming language

  • Deep knowledge of microservice architecture patterns and anti-patterns.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Consul, Jenkins, Prometheus, or RabbitMQ.

Your role

  • Continuously test new lead sources and campaigns and make quick judgements based on results.

  • BA/BS or equivalent experience
  • 5 years experience in a marketing role supporting revenue generation
  • Top-notch verbal and written communication skills, able to flawlessly transition between conversations with operations, business development, and marketing teams
  • Experience with using Salesforce.com CRM

Your role

About the team

Dialpad’s QA (Quality Assurance) team is responsible for ensuring the quality of software products and applications. Your role

The Data Engineer team will architect and craft the data platform to empower and implement data applications, including data ingestion framework, Data Observability, Data Quality, Anomaly detection, Data Lake/Data warehouse, business intelligence, APIs and reporting systems. The team will improve data platform performance and reliability, and opportunities to collaborate with industry standard innovative technology partners and authorities to improve efficiency through automation.

Your role 

As Data Manager you’ll focus on implementing data platform vision, planning and carrying out the roadmap to enable platform capabilities.
This position reports to our AVP Director of Analytics and has the opportunity to be based in US.

What you’ll do

  • Manage Data Ingestion, transformation and data quality frameworks in Realtime and Batch
  • Design and develop cloud data platforms - Tools and Capabilities to support teams to enable self-service capabilities.
  • Write in Python, Java or other languages to deliver a wide variety of data services
  • Building tools to accelerate data ingestion and transformation with lineage, data security, data privacy protection.
  • Improve data quality by using amp; improving internal tools/frameworks to automatically detect Data quality issues.
  • Keep abreast of new tools, packages while consistently pushing the limit of what is possible to deliver the best solutions
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to apply Dialpad’s agile processes and be responsible for the initiation, delivery, and communication of projects for the partner organizations
  • Promote tooling, frameworks and findings with the wider Dialpad Community
  • Willing to work across multiple time zones
  • Understand and gain solid understanding of team’s technology stack and instance strategy to align with software development lifecycle
  • Ability to lead complex projects with technical design to launch, incremental approach rather than big bang with continuous delivery, simplifying sophisticated architectural with simple solutions, and seeks opportunities to improve
  • Owning and performing thorough, meaningful and balance reviews, tailers code review comments – useful for the receivers, continuous measurable improvement through reducing deployment bugs
  • Contribution to the documentation, release notes, documentation reviews to guide others and improve their performance
  • Building high quality monitoring, sets and communicate reliability requirements and coaching junior members of the team including extended teams
  • Keeping security for both data in transit and data at rest, and compliance (PII, PCI, CCPA, SOX, GDPR etc.) in mind
  • Understanding of available resources while designing the solution, ability to reuse the resources to build scalable solution

Skills you’ll bring

  • 7+ years of technology industry experience
  • Proven track record writing data algorithms and pipelines.
  • Proficient experience writing python, java or Scala.
  • Experience on any of these cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure)
  • Experience with BigQuery, Spark or Databricks, or Redshift

Other Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Data pipelines or CI/CD implementations (Preferred)
  • Quantitative graduate degree (is a plus)
  • Master Degree or higher in Computer Science/Engineering or directly related experience

  • Product Management
    Manage Design System backlog, roadmap, priorities, scope, and tasking for design system features, documentation, and communication channels. Dialpad’s VSB Sales Specialists will help future customers start a free trial of Dialpad and work with them through their trial to set them up for success.  In this role, you’ll combine your ability to help people, actively listen to their problems/needs, and match how Dialpad can solve their problems uniquely, so they stay a Dialpad customer for a long time.

This position reports to our Manager, VSB Sales Philippines and has the opportunity to be based in our Manilla/Remote Office. Preferred working hours are 10AM-6PM PST, remote position

What you’ll do

  • Own non-trial to trial lead conversion, trial to paid lead conversion, and team revenue targets
  • Make an impact with our customers as you will be their first point of contact
  • Partner with Billing, Support, Marketing, and other sales teams to bring forth the best customer experience possible
  • Research and keep up to date with product changes that will benefit your customers
  • You’ll get first hand experience on a full sales cycle (from initial interest to closed-won deals)
  • You’ll be the first point of contact for our Sales Lines and Live Chat, speaking with people predominantly in North America, some at times, all over the world!
  • You’ll help our future customers sign up for a trial, work with them through the trial and set them up for future success

Skills you’ll bring 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (Business Administration is preferred but not required)
  • Ability to read, write, and speak english fluently
  • Previous experience in sales or customer service
  • High level of emotional IQ
  • A high level of energy and willingness to learn!
  • Experience with Salesforce, VoIP industry, and Outreach preferred by not required
  • Experience with G-suite
