The team

You will contribute to our global PSTN NOC team by monitoring real-time communications, performing fault isolation, tracking issues, and communicating with our engineering teams about platform issues. 

What you will achieve

In your first 30 days: 

The first 30 days is centered around development and training on technologies used by the Dialpad platforms. This includes call flows, providers, cloud infrastructure and implementations.

In your first 60 days: 

The next 30 days focuses on guided fault handling and confidence development. During this time the main focus is to develop the skills needed to carry out job duties with little to no supervision and to understand escalation policies and procedures.

By 90 days: 

The next 30 days you will be expected to handle incidents and escalations on your own. This includes opening tickets with telephone carriers, engineering and support teams as needed. Follow thru on incident resolution, new carrier onboarding and improvement projects as needed.

Who you are

We are looking for skilled seasoned NOC professionals who have experience in telephone networks (specifically with SIP and VoIP), IP networking knowledge, call reporting and analysis, gathering data thru SQL and incident management. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years experience in a voice NOC position.

Our Marketing team has an opportunity like no other!

As a Senior Web Designer, you’ll work across the entire marketing website and will contribute to the evolution of the web design system.  You’ll work closely with the brand design team, conversion analysts, and the broader marketing org.

Who you are

We’re looking for Account Executives with experience selling into larger Enterprises (our customer sweet spot is 1k-10k employee companies). You should have a passion for evangelizing modern products and helping companies think differently about legacy processes (think cloud modernization projects). This means you’re fearless to start conversations, a captive storyteller, aren’t afraid to ask hard questions, and can juggle many opportunities while always looking for new ones. You know how to gather/deliver feedback on market needs and product dependencies to further drive revenue growth. You’re comfortable carrying a quota and operating in collaboration with others, while taking extreme accountability for your results. This role requires authenticity, scrappiness at times, and an ability to coach prospective C-level buyers through a very closely managed journey. The team

Dialpad’s Product Engineering organization is responsible for building and maintaining the customer-facing features at scale across all of our cloud native products and services: Talk, Contact Center, Sales Dialer, Video Conferencing, and Voice Intelligence

Every day, millions of people across the world use our technology for communicating effectively and efficiently. Product Engineering teams focus on areas such as billing, growth, search amp; analytics, core platform, frontend amp; backend infrastructure, developer and partner ecosystem amp; integrations and more. 

As an engineer on the Engineering Productivity team, your goal is to build solutions that maximize productivity and happiness across Dialpad’s internal engineering organization. The team measures engineering overhead and prioritizes projects that will put the biggest dent in overhead for the least cost. You’ll jump in where the team is needed most to build tooling, features, processes, and metrics that aid productivity. It’s all about making it easy for engineers to do their best quality work efficiently.

What you will achieve

In your first 30 days: 

  • Meet your manager and onboarding buddy who will help you ramp up.
  • Get to know a highly communicative and collaborative engineering team .
  • Complete the comprehensive engineering onboarding program (including training videos and documentation on the codebase).
  • Work on starter projects to get comfortable working with the Dialpad codebase. Starter projects are done across all teams, and will help ramp you up on all aspects including: frontend, backend, and architecture.

In your first 6 months:

  • You’ll begin working on impactful and educational starter projects within the engineering productivity team. For example: tooling to automate engineering onboarding.
  • You’ll receive mentorship and code reviews from your peers to help you ramp up on engineering at Dialpad.

After 6 months:

As a member of the web engineering team you’ll work closely with our designers, content creators, SEO and conversion optimization teams to build out our global web presence. What you will achieve

In your first 30 days: 

  • As Dialpad’s newest web developer you’ll have made a direct impact on our web presence with your first set of updates, changes and enhancements

The team

Every engineer on our global Engineering team is given the opportunity to take ownership of a large portion of the product where they’re able to see immediate results. Combining natural language processing and artificial intelligence with world-class cloud computing, the things you’ll create at Dialpad will shape the future of work—enabling companies to work from anywhere and making business communication more human.

The integrations team builds integrations between Dialpad and third party products to speed up our customer’s workflows and give them a customized experience. Engineers have a huge impact and will build directly customer facing integrations. We build our integrations in an independent microservice and codebase using Dialpad’s public APIs. We use a common integrations layer to enable faster development of integrations with less duplication. This is a full stack engineering team providing both frontend and backend engineering opportunities.

 

What you will achieve

In your first two months:

  • Meet your manager and onboarding buddy who will support you in getting started
  • Set up your development environment
  • Get to know a highly communicative and collaborative engineering team 
  • Complete the engineering onboarding program (including training videos and documentation)
  • Work on starter projects to get comfortable working with the integrations microservice codebase. Starter projects will help ramp you up on all aspects including: frontend, backend, and architecture.

In your first six months:

  • You’ll work on impactful and educational starter projects within the integrations team. For example: adding support to log Dialpad calls to a CRM.
  • Projects are full stack with a balance of frontend and backend.
  • You’ll receive mentorship and code reviews from your peers in integrations. Your integrations engineering peers love to work together, talk through projects, and help each other overcome roadblocks.

After six months:

  • You’ll have a deeper understanding of integrations concepts and the integrations microservice codebase so you can work on more complex projects.
  • You’ll build integrations based on the team’s quarterly goals. We use data and customer surveys to determine which integrations and workflows are most important to our customers.
  • You’ll work across team boundaries with the developer platform team to enhance our public APIs so that they can fulfill the needs of both internal and external integrations teams.
  • You’ll architect coding patterns to eliminate duplication between integrations and make it even easier to build new ones quickly.
  • You’ll learn how to do code reviews so you can share your knowledge with peers.
  • Mentor new hires to help the team grow.

Every engineer on our global Engineering team is given the opportunity to take ownership of a large portion of the product where they’re able to see immediate results. The developer platform team builds APIs, events, and frameworks for external developers to use to build integrations and plug-ins into Dialpad. Engineers on this team build backend public APIs and event frameworks, frontend plug-in frameworks, and client libraries. We work closely with a technical product manager who connects with developers to identify their workflows and needs.

What you will achieve

In your first two months:

  • Meet your manager and onboarding buddy who will support you in getting started
  • Set up your development environment
  • Get to know a highly communicative and collaborative engineering team 
  • Complete the engineering onboarding program (including training videos and documentation)
  • Work on starter projects to get comfortable working with the Dialpad codebase. Starter projects are done across all teams, and will help ramp you up on all aspects including: frontend, backend, and architecture.

In your first six months:

  • You’ll work on impactful and educational starter projects within the developer platform team. For example: exposing a public API that allows users to change their presence status.
  • Projects are full stack, but lean more towards backend than frontend.
  • You’ll receive mentorship and code reviews from your peers in the developer platform team. Your peers love to work together, talk through projects, and help each other overcome roadblocks.

After six months:

  • You’ll have a deeper understanding of the developer platform codebase and will be able to work on more complex projects.

The Product Engineering, Product (Backend) Infrastructure team focuses on performance, monitoring, stability, and security of Dialpad’s Talk, Contact Center, and Sell products. Through design and implementing tools and processes across our cloud infrastructure and Dialpad product backend, this backend product engineering team is key to creating a stable and performant experience for a large volume of concurrent users. Whether reducing time to ring, or bolstering our most utilized APIs, the Product Infrastructure team works with other engineering peers on application uptime to ensure that calling and messaging works smoothly for our users all the time.

  • Virtualised Packet Core design and implementation

What you will achieve

As a Mid-Market Account Executive, you are a key part of the Dialpad Sales organization, uncovering, managing, and converting 50-1000 employee businesses to excited customers!

In your first 30 days: 

  • You’ll work closely with our Sales Enablement team to get up to speed on our products, space, sales motions, and GTM strategy during your first three weeks.
  • You’ll engage with supporting departments (ex. Deal Desk, Professional Services, Sales Engineering, etc) to learn how they interact with Sales and impact your ability to be successful in your role
  • You’ll work with your Manager to identify the appropriate metrics that you’ll be held accountable for 
  • You’ll jump into and familiarize yourself with Dialpad’s tech stack and understand how to properly utilize the many tools available to you during your prospecting and deal management (i.e. Outreach, SFDC, ZoomInfo) 
  • Your manager will provide you with the relevant tools and guidance to begin building your territory plan to begin prospecting/building pipeline 
  • You’ll begin making your first calls with the expectation to schedule your first New Logo discovery call one week following your onboarding training (approx. 4 weeks)
  • You’ll meet regularly with your mentor/buddy who is a veteran AE to model what success looks like and what it takes to be a top performer

In your first 60 days: 

  • You’ll develop a dynamic understanding of the key competitors in the space so that you can create unique talking points to impact initial deals
  • You’ll gain granular insight into our key differentiators so that you can hold meaningful conversations with potential clients
  • We’ll get you up to speed on our Sales Methodology and the proper steps in execution so you maintain the highest level of conversion in your deals
  • Gain full understanding of our pricing model so you can adequately quote and deliver proposals to prospective customers 
  • You’ll develop your SFDC hygiene and fully grasp the key components of managing your opportunities

By 90 days: 

  • Master the ability to deliver relevant, timely, and effective qualification discussions to define the metrics and compelling events of prospects
  • Develop more autonomy in your deal management and delivery of sales demonstrations
  • Work cross-functionally with your SDR and Channel partners to expand your reach into accounts with the intention of sourcing deals through all avenues 
  • Partner with Sales Engineers to drive technical demonstrations and deal momentum

At 120 days, you will be fully expected to maintain 4X your pipeline coverage and are actively closing deals on a monthly basis

The team

Instrumental in the success and retention of Dialpad customers, our Customer Success and Professional Services teams are the backbone of our company. What you will achieve

In your first 30 days: 

  • You’ll work closely with the your manager as well as the rest of the Professional Services team to learn about Dialpad as a company and also the Dialpad product offerings 
  • You’ll start to network with teams you will be working closely with such as Engineering, Customer Success, and Support 
  • You’ll work with the enablement team as they walk through your onboarding classes; these classes will be an introduction to the JR Developer role and the Professional Services team 

In your first 60 days: 

  • You’ll begin to shadow your team mates calls to get a good grasp of the Dialpad’s API and integration process
  • You’ll learn the Dialpad deployment methodology and the various tools you will be using to assist our customers with customer integration
  • You’ll learn how to assist Dialpad’s customer’s integration needs
  • Learn how to conduct discovery calls, testing solutions and the Dialpad DIgital engagement product.

By 90 days: 

  • Conducting client discovery calls with Sales Representatives.
  • Meeting with clients to discuss their software integration needs.

  • Designing and installing customized software solutions for the client.
  • Testing the performance of the installed solution and fixing bugs.

The team

Every engineer on our global Engineering team is given the opportunity to take ownership of a large portion of the product where they’re able to see immediate results. Combining natural language processing and artificial intelligence with world-class cloud computing, the things you’ll create at Dialpad will shape the future of work—enabling companies to work from anywhere and making business communication more human.

The integrations team builds integrations between Dialpad and third party products to speed up our customer’s workflows and give them a customized experience. Engineers have a huge impact and will build directly customer facing integrations. We build our integrations in an independent microservice and codebase using Dialpad’s public APIs. We use a common integrations layer to enable faster development of integrations with less duplication. This is a full stack engineering team providing both frontend and backend engineering opportunities.

 

What you will achieve

In your first two months:

  • Meet your manager and onboarding buddy who will support you in getting started
  • Set up your development environment
  • Get to know a highly communicative and collaborative engineering team 
  • Complete the engineering onboarding program (including training videos and documentation)
  • Work on starter projects to get comfortable working with the integrations microservice codebase. Starter projects will help ramp you up on all aspects including: frontend, backend, and architecture.

In your first six months:

  • You’ll work on impactful and educational starter projects within the integrations team. For example: adding support to log Dialpad calls to a CRM.
  • Projects are full stack with a balance of frontend and backend.
  • You’ll receive mentorship and code reviews from your peers in integrations. Your integrations engineering peers love to work together, talk through projects, and help each other overcome roadblocks.

After six months:

  • You’ll have a deeper understanding of integrations concepts and the integrations microservice codebase so you can work on more complex projects.
  • You’ll build integrations based on the team’s quarterly goals. We use data and customer surveys to determine which integrations and workflows are most important to our customers.
  • You’ll work across team boundaries with the developer platform team to enhance our public APIs so that they can fulfill the needs of both internal and external integrations teams.
  • You’ll architect coding patterns to eliminate duplication between integrations and make it even easier to build new ones quickly.
  • You’ll learn how to do code reviews so you can share your knowledge with peers.
  • Mentor new hires to help the team grow.

Our Data team gathers insights from oodles of data using their innate curiosity and technical prowess—informing future products and helping our customers. You’ll work with a variety of teams across the company to provide counsel and recommendations on how to best drive forward global initiatives.
