You are an independent and ambitious quantitatively minded individual. You have experience with numerical programming and statistical analysis and are hoping to launch the next phase of your career. What you will achieve

In your first 30 days:

Every engineer on our global Engineering team is given the opportunity to take ownership of a large portion of the product where they’re able to thrive. What you will achieve

In your first 30 days: 

  • You'll experience our comprehensive onboarding and learn about Dialpad's culture amp; values
  • Work closely with your mentors to set up your tools and learn about our products, software development and production support processes and workflows
  • Get to know the mobile and product engineering teams and their respective areas of focus
  • Review and use existing knowledge base documentation for multiple product areas and shadow other production support engineers 
  • Start developing cross-functional, collaborative relationships across engineering, product, design, QA and customer support teams, as well as other internal teams as needed

In your first 90 days: 

  • Triage, prioritize, and resolve or escalate tickets reported by Customer Support and other product development teams like product, engineering, and QA
  • Be the first line of support for calling-related bugs
  • Develop extensive documentation for both customers and internal teams to reduce troubleshooting time and drive faster issue resolution

In your first 6 months: 

  • Research, analyze, and diagnose complicated technical issues through leveraging backend systems and logging
  • Lead active incident management and post-incident learnings

By 1 year:

  • Become a calling expert, learning all there is about the different phases of a call between the backend telephony engine, the SIP and  WebRTC layer, and the dialpad app itself
  • Partner with engineering teams to become the point of contact regarding mobile engineering issues
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams for enhancing bug management workflows and automating processes to create efficiency
  • Start leading and/or mentoring other production support engineers on a fast growing team


Who you are

You love learning how things work and figuring out thorny problems. You are a good communicator who likes helping people. You consistently thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, rapidly changing environment with the ability to work with and deeply understand a new product or service. You have prior experience working in production support across multiple applications. You’re an expert at proactively identifying potential issues, and resolving customer issues.

Soft Skills and experience:

  • 3+ years experience in supporting large scale distributed systems, SaaS-based solutions working with global distributed teams across multiple time zones. Preferably in the VOIP and/or business communications (UCaaS/CCaaS) industry
  • A technical background with excellent English written communication skills and empathy for software engineers and customers is vital
  • Attention to detail and a strong passion for quality – experience maintaining high quality customer facing software applications
  • Excellent problem solver who loves to learn and is interested in VOIP telephony and working with people
  • You are curious and persistent. Some issues take hours or days to pin down. Also you will be self-directed and able to prioritize work so that everything that’s urgent gets done.
  • Experience with, and an interest in learning, a broad array of frontend, backend languages amp; frameworks and cloud computing technologies

Tech skills:

  • Beginner's understanding of networks and networking issues
  • Beginner's level understanding of SIP and WebRTC
  • Ability to read logs from the apps and understand:
    • SIP and WebRTC handshakes
    • WebRTC stats, like MOS scores and audio energy
  • Understanding of HTTP error codes (404, 407, 200, 403)
  • Ability to connect the dots between logs from different parts of the system
  • A general understanding of iOS settings, especially current versions
  • The ability to read a Crashlytics crash report

Regarding our stack:

The team

As a Sales Engineer at Dialpad, you will be part of the Sales organization and play a huge role in providing innovative and deal driving customer solutions. Our SEs partner with Account Executives to win and close major deals that will have a large impact on Dialpad's overall success. The global Sales team is made up of Sales Development, Channel, Enablement, SMB, MidMarket, and Enterprise teams—all teeming with unbridled passion and grit. Our SEs help businesses solve complex communications problems felt by everyone around the world.

What you will achieve

In your first 30 days: 

  • You’ll work closely with the your manager as well as a Sales Engineering mentor to learn about Dialpad as a company and also the Dialpad product offerings 
  • You’ll network with your SE peers on the Enterprise, MidMarket, SMB amp; Channel teams
  • You’ll start to network with teams you will be working closely with such as Sales, Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Support 
  • You’ll work with the enablement team on a training track specifically designed for Sales Engineers at Dialpad

In your first 60 days: 

  • You’ll begin to shadow your fellow SEs and Reps on discovery calls, demos and Proof of Concept coordination calls to get a good grasp of what it is to be an SE at Dialpad
  • You’ll learn the ins and outs of the many integrations that Dialpad works with and practice you demo skills on these integrations
  • You’ll learn the many technical tools the Sales Engineering team uses to test network environments and track features and improvements
  • You’ll complete Sales Engineering Demo Certification

  • With the help of the Sales Engineering team you’ll work directly with reps and prospects to aid  technical discussions and demos
  • With the assistance of the Sales Engineering team you’ll start running Proof of Concepts which includes gathering success criteria, system configuration, admin training, user training amp; troubleshooting

Technical Skills:

  • Excellent grasp of various modern cloud communications platforms such as Google Workspace and Microsoft 365
  • Experience with Business VoIP Telephony Services (On-Premise or SaaS)
  • Experience with Contact Center solutions (On-Premise or SaaS)
  • Understanding and experience with the following VoIP CODECs and technologies (G.711, G.729, G.722, OPUS, H.264, VP8, VP9, WebRTC, H.323, SIP, Network Analyzers)
  • Comprehension of and experience with: 
    • Network Infrastructure (Firewalls, Routers, Switches amp; Wireless); WAN Technologies (MPLS, VPLS amp; SD-WAN)
    • Data Center Technologies (Public amp; Private Clouds)
    • Software components involved in enterprise service delivery (web servers, application servers, databases, web services, mainframes, network attached storage and other related technologies)

Non-technical Skills:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience working with Project Managers on complex site deployments.
  • Minimum 5 years customer-facing experience working as either as Solution Architect, Sales Engineer, Implementation Engineer, Solutions Consultant or similar roles
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively and balance multiple, disparate work streams

Instrumental in the success and retention of Dialpad customers, our Customer Success team is the backbone of our company. Using your problem-solving skills and inherent motivation to help others, you will delight and assist our Small Medium Business (SMB) customers from their first call to their last (if there is one!). 

What you will achieve

In your first 30 days, you’ll: 

  • Attend BaseCamp, our Revenue Org onboarding program, where you’ll learn all about our company, product, internal systems, and CS approach.
  • Work closely with your manager and teammates to get up to speed on all things CS: processes, tool set, customer base, etc.
  • Understand how the SMB Customer Success team fits into the greater Dialpad picture.
  • Get to know cross-functional partners that we work with most frequently, like Sales, Professional Services, Product, Support, and AR.
  • Head into month 2 with a solid grasp of where to go to find the right answers to customer questions.

In your first 60 days, you’ll: 

  • Familiarize yourself with your book of business using qualitative and quantitative data and begin getting introduced to your customers by your teammates.
  • Establish a regular cadence with your customers to stay aligned on business goals, product updates, etc.
  • Manage upcoming renewals and forecast renewals for the next quarter to ensure predictability for the business.
  • Dig into the product more and more as you receive specific questions from your customers - this is when everything really starts to click!

By 90 days, you’ll:

  • Start conducting Business Reviews with customers to demonstrate value, get to know key stakeholders, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Lean into your role as the “voice of the customer” within Dialpad by funneling feedback from your customers to Product and others.
  • Oversee your customers’ adoption, training, and development of best practices to continually drive incremental value and ROI.
  • Manage escalations by documenting open issues, facilitating regular status meetings, and working cross-functionally to resolution. 
  • Track accounts to identify churn risks and work proactively to mitigate those risks.

Who you are

First and foremost, you love working with customers and helping them realize value by achieving (or exceeding!) their goals. You’re early in your Customer Success career, with less than 2 years of experience, and eager to get started in a fast-paced tech role. You know how to communicate clearly, use data to your advantage, and organize your time like a boss. The team

Instrumental in the success and retention of Dialpad customers, our Customer Success and Professional Services teams are the backbone of our company. What you will achieve

In your first 30 days: 

  • You’ll work closely with the your manager as well as the rest of the Professional Services team to learn about Dialpad as a company and also the Dialpad product offerings 
  • You’ll start to network with teams you will be working closely with such as Engineering, Customer Success, and Support 
  • You’ll work with the enablement team as they walk through your onboarding classes; these classes will be an introduction to the JR Developer role and the Professional Services team 

In your first 60 days: 

  • You’ll begin to shadow your team mates calls to get a good grasp of the Dialpad’s API and integration process
  • You’ll learn the Dialpad deployment methodology and the various tools you will be using to assist our customers with customer integration

By 90 days:

The role:

 

The main responsibility of the Onsite Support Engineer is to provide effective onsite technical support to Littlefish contract customers, for desktop/laptop/printer/application issues and installations as well as basic network/server troubleshooting and administration.   • To prioritise, progress and resolve technical queries and service requests assigned to the individual in accordance with standard and customer specific service level agreements
  • To be responsible for completing specific technical projects as designated by the Service Management Team e.g. projects, deployments, installs, moves, adds and changes
  • Make effective use of all personal and team time during any periods of inactivity
  • Maintain personal qualifications and skill sets and ensure training is completed in line with business and personal needs.

  • Previous experience of working in an IT support role
  • Previous experience of providing 1st and 2nd line support for Apple Macs
  • Be able to demonstrate IT related problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of IT infrastructure support working across a range of up to date technologies including desktop/laptop/printer hardware, Office 365, Exchange, Windows 10, Active Directory, Apple OSX and iOS, deployment technologies SCCM/WSUS/MDT
  • Assesses risks effectively and the implications of his/her actions/advice to Littlefish and customer

The opportunity 

The Telnyx Accounting Team is responsible for all aspects of the financial, statutory and internal reporting processes, financial systems, internal controls and business support. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Participate in building scalable accounting processes to support global growth

  • Plan and perform monthly and quarterly close activities, including balance sheet reconciliations, variance analyses and analytical reviews, producing internal management reporting and external audit support.

  • Partner with Business Operations,  Legal and other Telnyx departments to support internal financial systems process improvements and automation and to advise on accounting implications 

  • Research and prepare technical accounting analyses for new accounting pronouncements and/or business initiatives

  • Design, implement and execute efficient internal control procedures

  • Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedural documentation

Who we’re looking for 

  • 7+ years of relevant public accounting and/or industry experience 

  • B.A. or B.S degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or foreign equivalent strongly preferred)

  • Fluency in U.S. GAAP and ability to research complex accounting issues

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, both written and verbal

  • Strong knowledge of Excel and experience working with large data

  • Solution-oriented mindset with enthusiasm for establishing best practices

  • Demonstrated experience  partnering with cross-functional stakeholders

The team

As a member of the Customer Support team, you have a knack for problem-solving in a fast-paced environment—always ready to dig in, troubleshoot, and solve any technical matter that our customers may face.

Responsibilities:

  • Become an expert in our products and service
  • Deliver amazing service and support to our users by providing fast and accurate responses
  • Handle user inquiries ranging from simple product questions to more complex technical support issues
  • Troubleshoot customer issues, escalate bug reports, and work to drive issue resolution
  • Maintain or exceed our established service levels and productivity standards
  • Work effectively with a variety of internal teams, including Sales, Engineering, and Product Management

Requirements:

  • College degree is required (technical degree is preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 years in customer support (additional work experience in a technical field is preferred)
  • Strong preference to having worked in the past for a well-known US company in support
  • Good home computer and internet connectivity a must (will be verified)
  • Excellent English skills a must (candidates will be turned down if their responses to the ad contain grammatical errors)

What you will achieve

In your first 30 days: 

  • You’ll complete our training course and be equipped to handle customer interactions across all our channels and platforms

In your first 90 days:

Who you are

This team is focused on supporting our partners who are supporting our product with their end users. As a great fit in this role, you will enjoy helping others solve complex problems and are able to drive issues to resolution while providing expectations about what the next steps are and who will execute them. You will have worked in a call center environment for a minimum of three years preferably processing incoming calls via a ticketing system in a SIP/Telco environment. Additionally, your background will ideally reflect some technical experience/knowledge surrounding LAN/WAN, Cloud technology and VoIP.

The team

  • Develop a deeper comprehension of Call Experience concepts and the Call Experience codebase so you can work on more complex projects.
  • Build features based on the team’s quarterly goals and improve our customers’ calling experience. We are motivated by data and customer surveys to appoint which features and workflows are most important to our customers.
  • Learn how to do code reviews so you can contribute your knowledge with peers in the future.
  • Work across team boundaries contributing to our shared component library used by all product engineers

Who you are

As a trusted and experienced principal engineer on the Call Experience team, you will own significant user-facing features and tackle technical challenges and enrich the team through your engineering experience including mentorship of junior engineers. You will lead projects with multiple engineers collaborating to deliver a major feature. You will work collaboratively in a cross functional team, including working closely with Product Managers in advocating for technical initiatives for the team and the Product Engineering organization.
