PMC Speeds Up Process to Fill Potholes, Launches Helpline to Report Potholes

Pune, India, July, 2022 -- The rains that have been continuing in Pune city for the past eight days took a toll on Thursday. After that, the municipal administration immediately came into action mode and the pits were repaired in 139 places during the day, the municipal administration informed.

Meanwhile, two more helpline numbers have been set up by the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) for pothole complaints in the city and the municipal administration has appealed to the citizens to contact these numbers.

It has been raining all over the city for the last eight days. As a result, many roads in the city have turned into rivers and many intersections, as well as main roads, have no drainage system.
