Rotterdam, Netherlands, Jan 17, 2023 -- Yource, a Netherlands-based firm which offers various services including staffing, outsourcing and workforce management, announced that it has acquired Sure Aim, a call centre in Suriname.

Financial details were not disclosed.

Until now, Yource was active in Suriname through an exclusive partnership with Sure Aim. Both parties have now reached an agreement for a takeover by Yource. Sure Aim will be rebranded as Yource Suriname.

Yource has been active in Suriname for more than ten years.

Ronald Smit, COO of Yource said, "Initially we had an exclusive partnership in which we were responsible for the partners (clients), knowledge and systems and our partner for accommodation and staffing. This collaboration enabled us to get to know the Surinamese community, culture and family feeling well."

Smit added that the acquisition was an important condition for ‘us to invest further and to continue to grow with existing and new partners.’

Carin Raedts, Country Director Yource Suriname, said, "I expect that Suriname as a Dutch-speaking offshore country will become increasingly important in the coming years due to labor shortages and inflation. We therefore see Yource Suriname as an important part of our broad BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) strategy and we will encourage our partners as much as possible to find the right spread within our global footprint, including Suriname, so that the total cost of ownership is manageable."
