Gov. Bill Lee Celebrates Opening of Call Center in Hancock County, 100 New Jobs
Hancock County, TN, USA, Oct, 2019 -- Gov. Bill Lee made the trip to Sneedville to celebrate the grand opening of a call center and the addition of 100 jobs to the community.
Allied Dispatch Solutions, which also employs hundreds of people in Johnson City, expanded to Hancock county as part of a partnership between federal and state agencies.
"Rural Tennessee is a great focus of our administration," Lee said, on the same day he celebrates his 60th birthday. "Bringing jobs into rural Tennessee is something that needs to be happening all over the place, so we're really proud to be here and celebrate."
As part of the announcement, Lee took a real call at the call center with Allied Dispatch employees.
