Gujarat to Launch Helpline for Consumer Complaints #contactcenterworld The department is going to launch a Consumer Awareness and Protection Unit (CAPU) to allow people to lodge grievances by making a call or writing an e-mail. The online system has been created looking at the fact that while people buy goods from malls, markets and online platforms, in case of being duped they don’t know where to raise the grievance. As of now, consumers can register complaints on the Central Government’s Public Grievances Portal and the Integrated Grievances Redressal Mechanism Portal apart from other helpline platforms.
