Call Centre Firm Webhelp Creates 190 New Jobs Across Scotland

Glasgow, Scotland, Nov 18, 2016 -- Call centre provider Webhelp UK has announced plans to create about 190 new jobs at sites across Scotland.

The company has its UK headquarters in Larbert and already employs thousands of people across Scotland.

The new recruitment drive comes on top of the 80 jobs announced for the Falkirk site last month and the 14 new positions in Rothesay created earlier this month.

Between now and the end of the year Webhelp is looking to recruit 86 people to full-time positions in Glasgow, 40 in Kilmarnock, 45 in Greenock and 15 in Dunoon.

The firm says the demand is for customer service advisors and team leaders.

They say the recruitment requirement is down to a combination of increased business from existing contracts and new client wins.
