Irvine, CA  July 26, 2022 -- ATEN Technology, Inc., a technology provider and global manufacturer of KVM and AV/IT connectivity and management solutions, announced a collaboration with Valens Semiconductor, a provider of semiconductor and high-speed connectivity solutions for the audiovisual and automotive markets, to create immersive experience exhibitions displayed around the world.

Using Valens Semiconductor’s chipsets implementing HDBaseT technology, ATEN’s professional audiovisual (pro AV) devices allow media players, extenders and projectors to connect and communicate with each other seamlessly and reliably, creating an immersive experience to transport guests into renowned paintings at Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience, the Claude Monet: The Immersive Experience, or back to the Jurassic period at the Dinos Alive! Immersive Experience.

"ATEN’s partnership with the HDBaseT Alliance allowed this application to be successful with our customer. The reliability of our products and the interoperability of the technology were key to deploy this solution on to different exhibitions in the U.S.," said Christian Young, pro AV product manager at ATEN Technology, Inc. "As a contributing member since 2017, we have manufactured over 30 HDBaseT products that apply the many advantages of the technology and therefore expanding the type of solutions the market is looking for in pro AV."

Exhibition managers wanted to create three 360-degree immersive rooms of floor-to-ceiling walls with projected video and audio via an average of 40 projectors that would surround guests with animation and sound for these exhibits. The setup required two separate control rooms to control the splitting and extending of the necessary pro AV feeds. In addition, the installation needed to be simple enough to set up and use for exhibition managers to control, as well as easily making it a transportable exhibit, as the exhibition travels from city to city.

"It is not by chance that ATEN has been selected for such a high-performance and high-profile line of projects," said Gabi Shriki, SVP and head of audiovisual business at Valens Semiconductor. "ATEN is known for its impeccable quality and has been utilizing our chipsets around the world, across a broad spectrum of verticals and applications such as education, medical, control centers, and more."
