CSC Named a Leader in IDC MarketScape


Tysons, VA, USA, Dec 15, 2016 -- CSC (NYSE: CSC), a global provider in IT services and solutions, announced it has been named a "Leader" for the second year in the IDC MarketScape: Asia/Pacific Managed Security Services (MSS) 2016 Vendor Assessment (doc# AP40939616, October 2016).

The IDC MarketScape report highlights CSC’s cloud-ready offerings and the ability to protect virtualized workloads in private and public environments, along with the use of system-wide automation for provisioning and early prevention and detection of threats.

IDC collected and analyzed data on 17 organizations in 2016 that offer MSS in the Asia/Pacific region. The evaluation included more than 45 in-depth interviews with managed service providers and their clients to assess service capability across the MSS life cycle, revenue, price competitiveness, service-level agreements (SLAs) and security operations center (SOC) staffing.
