Waterford-based Klearcom Secures an Investment

#contactcenterworld

Waterford, Ireland, Dec 21, 2021 -- Waterford-based Klearcom, which helps multinational contact centres avoid voice call outages, has raised funding.

Founded by Liam Dunne in 2018, the company is to use the new financing to open an office in the US as it looks to expand there. It is also intending to increase headcount to over 50 people from 20 currently by the end of 2023.

DBIC Ventures, the venture arm of Dublin Bic, led the investment round by contributing from its latest early-stage fund. Other backers include the Halo Business Angel Network (Hban) and Enterprise Ireland.

"The interactive voice response testing market is saturated by companies using legacy infrastructure. We are a young competitor and have the agility required to relentlessly innovate and bring one-of-a-kind services to the market," said Mr Dunne.
