Kinetic Business by Windstream Launches OfficeSuite UC® to Small and Midsize Business Customers


Little Rock, AK, USA, Oct, 2019 -- Windstream, a provider of network communications and technology solutions that was recently named in research firm Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Unified Communications as a Service, Worldwide 2019 report, has extended its proprietary unified communications solution to Kinetic Business by Windstream customers, serving the rapidly evolving needs of small and midsize businesses.

OfficeSuite UC is an over-the-top solution optimized for mobility with anywhere, anytime access from any device.

Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Unified Communications as a Service, Worldwide, published July 30, 2019, and authored by Daniel O’Connell, Megan Fernandez, Rafael Benitez, Christopher Trueman and Sebastian Hernandez, states, "Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) is now the preferred delivery option for SMBs below 1,000 employees… Virtually all research and development is now focused on the cloud, the market is competitive to keep pricing attractive, there is a fast pace of innovation, and few organizations wish to manage legacy infrastructure internally."

To be included in the Magic Quadrant for Unified Communications as a Service Worldwide, each solution provider must meet certain criteria. This criteria includes, "The provider must be a UCaaS platform vendor that has developed its own proprietary UCaaS application stack. The UCaaS provider must design, build, upgrade, support and operate the UCaaS platform (typically in its data center or in a partner data center) … The provider must have a UCaaS solution with VoIP, conferencing (audio, video and web), IM/presence, UM, and mobility." Gartner’s research publications provide analyses and conclusions of Gartner’s experts based on real-world performance.
