Complaints Flood Helpline After Thursday Closure #contactcenterworld "The number of complaints spiked on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Many of them said that they faced problems due to water cuts. The restoration on Friday did not work, and problems were seen even on weekends," said a senior PMC official. The helpline, which was started in March, has received 1,400 calls so far. While residents say that their issues have not been solved despite repeated calls, PMC officials claimed that 80% of complaints have been resolved. A civic official said the helpline has brought relief to some residents. "The civic administration has taken many steps to reduce complaints of low pressure supply. The administration has set up a new water supply network for resolving matters of water scarcity in fringes," said Aniruddha Pawaskar, head of the PMC’s water supply department. #contactcenterworld Posted by Veronica Silva Cusi, news correspondent
