An award-winning executive and academic with extensive expertise in academia, general management, executive education, and business development with 20+ years of experience in designing, leading, implementing, and managing projects in various industries/sectors. Alaa is the deputy chair of the Human Capital Technical Committee and represents the UK in the ISO/TC260. He is a Fellow at St. George Leaders Society and the Learning and Performance Institute, UK. He authored three books and developed the Learning-Driven Organization Model (LDO), and he is writing a weekly column in a leading newspaper in the UAE. Alaa has led and managed a client portfolio of 43 organisations and assessed 450+ firms, worked and engaged in assignments in 13 countries. Some of his former roles include CEO, Investors in People, UAE, Director of Emirates Centre for Organisational Learning, and Director of Emirates College of Technology. Alaa is the founder of the Organizational Learning Conference MENA and services as a trustee in five charities in the UK, the UAE and Egypt.
