An experienced economic development professional, I have worked in a variety of private and predominantly public sector roles, involved in industry and strategy development, management, research and analysis, policy development and stakeholder management activities. In particular, a significant proportion of my career has been as the Victorian Government's industry sector manager for Service Centres (contact centre, shared services, BPO/KPO, analytics). The Victorian Government Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport and Resources (DEDJTR) has a major focus in bringing together many of the key functions that drive economic development and job creation across Victoria. These include transport and ports, energy, investment attraction and facilitation, trade, innovation, regional development and small business, together with key services to sectors such as agriculture, the creative industries, resources and tourism.
