Environmental Considerations

How would you describe your contact center? How would your staff describe it? Would they say that it’s a pleasant place to work in and comfortable? Or would they say it’s cramped, dull, untidy and uncomfortable? Pleasant work environment can significantly help morale and even have a positive effect on reducing sickness. Ask your staff what they think and if there are improvements that can be made at little or no cost action it as soon as possible. Some simple ideas include adding notice boards, plants, clear windows to let more natural light in, move large cupboards to the sides, create areas where agents can relax and unwind etc.
