How often do you take your team out or have them participate in some team-based activities that is not necessarily work related? Here are some ideas of things to do – we recommend you don’t just do them but set targets which, if achieved, result in a team activity. You could for example organise 10-pin bowling, meal out, trip to a theme park, paintball games, soccer, darts matches etc. Have your team come up with some ideas on what they would like to do as a team and ask them what goal to set. Chances are they will challenge themselves and then the rewards they get will result in increased motivation – it’s what they have worked for.
