Getting The Marketing Message Right
Recently I sat through a very punchy and expertly produced TV commercial. It was all about e-business and how this company could help you achieve your business goals with a range of business solutions including hosting. The sad thing was that all the way through they were encouraging potential business customers to call a toll free number rather than getting on line and visiting the company’s web site etc. At the end of the advert they did briefly display a web site address but it was not the focus for response. I thought that this approach seemed to contradict what they are trying to get businesses to do! Make sure that your messages reinforce your solution, not conflict with them.
