Finding The Right Vendor

For speech recognition I would suggest to go with a vendor that has open standard face architecture, one that has open standards software and that has open standard hardware. Next, you want to go with a vendor that has an overall solutions orientation; someone that can provide speech recognition expertise and the software and full implementation so that you are not relying on multiple suppliers. Finally, make sure that you go to a company that has speech recognition expertise. It is as much an art as it is a science! - Mark Skoog of Syntellect
