Today, I received a huge e-mail with hundreds of ‘net’ offers from my frequent flyer carrier. Unfortunately they fail to recognise that, despite many transatlantic trips I make, I live in the UK and all my travel is from the UK to North America and back, yet they still send me offers from the US to the UK. Not one offer is from the UK to another destination. This gets annoying after a while. So if you deal with different customer groups, whether they be in different locations or have different needs, at least offer them solutions that may work – it could be different prices based on country i.e. US Dollars, UK Pounds, etc. or different options i.e. traveling from the UK to US and back.
