When you start to use a workforce management system you are only going to use about 30% of the features and benefits. You can’t stop there. You need to remind yourself where you want to go, where the additional things that you are not using are, and be sure to stay refreshed on them. Secondly, you need to form a relationship with the workforce management supplier. One where you are not just calling to ask questions about the product but rather asking process questions and get some consultative support. You also need to be aware that you are going to make process changes when you get a system, but be careful not to make too many too fast, and that the vendor is not requiring you to do things that are counter to your culture. -(posted by a member)
